Thanks for checking out this episode "5 Best Off-Road Trails...". Hope the suggestions are helpful and get you out exploring. As always, thanks also for taking care of our public lands by staying on the roads, respecting the laws, and leaving no trace. -Eric

Very nice! The Marble Canyon road forks off into Cottonwood Canyon and that is also a very nice drive to the end of the road. Last time we were there no permits were required but that was several years ago and things have changed there as well as Hole in the Wall and Echo Canyon roads which have designated camping areas now. Some of my favorites are on the East side of the Panamints into Trail, Johnson, Hanaupah and Galena Canyons. No permits are required for camping on those roads yet.

I'd like to get down there off West Side road and spend more time. We got about half way up Hanuapah-very intriguing, and did spend some time up Echo and Hole in the Wall. I'm glad they have the permitting system. I could easily see those places getting overrun they're so beautiful. I know you have a video about Goler Wash...that's another bucket list item for me. Did you cross the entire range through there?"

@@artistic-off-road Yes, we have been over Mengel pass several times from the Panamint Valley side. It's a challenging route in some places but we have done it in a stock Jeep pulling our trailer so it's not that hard.

Fun drives. Are those in order of least to best?

No. South to north generally. All equally intriguing depending on season.
