By doing these mistakes, you'll not only make yourself a worse football player, but also make it harder for your team to win the match - and actually, it's not difficult to avoid doing these 5 common football mistakes by following our latest tutorial. In short, if you're not looking up when you have the ball, you'll make it harder for yourself to see your team mates and know how much time you have before an opponent will close you down. Also, if you don't think ahead and know what to do with the ball, that is a mistake as you'll most likely rush it when you then get the ball. If you have a tendency to hide and don't really ask for the ball and in general just shy away from letting the other team know that you're there - that's a big football mistake too. Finally, you should avoid the mistake of always looking for the killer pass and of course to be selfish with the football by constantly dribbling and shooting on your own while ignoring your team mates. It's not that i am selfish, it's that I always look down and I can't see my teammates.
Looking down is a difficult habit to get out off, try to every few seconds, maybe every 4 or 5 just glance up to see where team mates are
Edit: the reason you look down is because your not confident enough on the ball, practice ball control, many drills improve this, trapping (kicking the ball up and removing all the energy from the ball to prevent bouncing, should stay in within 30cm of your foot)

Tapping the ball between your legs, taping the ball with your toes
Step overs
Tricks are a good way to improve ball control, learn to do 100s of keep ups, around the world, heel taps, anything

@@harleyspencer5464 actually, if you watch the video with the original sound you can hear a whistle (or something like that) blowing, I guess from the crowd, so you can't really blame him. And he shows that to Mancini as he gets subbed that he heard a whistle.
Nono he misheard a whistle from the fans and he thought it was an whistle from the ref. He gestured it to Mancini after he got subbed off
You missed how you explain not to pressure your teammates by constantly telling them what to do in middle of a Match
That has nothing to do with being a good player. If you do that you're just a bad teammate, regardless of how good you are.
Sometimes you have to do that. If you are the Messi of your team always make clear what the others have to do if they play wrong. If they don't know, they can't do it and you lose. I always tell my mates what to do, at least the worse ones. If they don't do it 2 or 3 times they don't get a pass any more.
basically, calling a teammate is not so bad but confusing him every single time he gets the ball is not going to help you or him and besides its childish to do this especially in a game....it doesnt help in any way i dont even think the messi's and ronaldo's do this.... they wait till the ball is out of play before coming down on you or telling you what you did wrong......

1)Always face the ball, and/or check your shoulder constantly.
2) Protect/shield the ball as much as possible whenever passing/receiving in tight spaces.
3) Get over your mistakes immediately; even at the pro level; I often see players throw their hands up or punch the air or fail to get back onside whenever a play doesn't work out; only to miss a subsequent oppurtunity due to the fact that they were too busy crying about the last one failing. The best players in the world are able to forgive themselves immediately.

This is bang on. The amount of players I see who are average but think they can take on 4 players and always fail, just never surprises me anymore. They never pass. Also, on the shouting for the ball - average players never see you if you call for it. And that is probably down to reason 1 - they're always looking down. And the killer pass - 🙄 - the amount of times you see players lose the ball trying to do it. I'm done with average.

I wish I knew all this when I was younger, I was an excellent center defender, of the ball, my strongest point where, a fighter, header, talking, man marking, physicality, 1on 1 defending, and agression, and determination, my fabless was exactly those in this video, not looking up, hiding, and making wrong passes, as I Felt that I have not enough time with the ball, Despite all this I was still important player in the first team but, I regret that I didn’t knew it, at a very young age all those things, I would’ve been 10 times better, Which i did with experience, and age, and I am enjoying my football more now then before, as get to play more on the ball, helping my team mates in every situation. The advice for the kids is simple, keep ur head up, look around, before and after u receive the ball, u will win more time to make good decisions, that will lead to ur players trusting you, and u will get the ball a lot mor, and that will boost ur confidence, which will help you, in believing in ur self, which leads to better ball control and the rest. It’s all about training and having the right coach.
For short taking i have to look down at the boll since greater distance else i am feeling sprawled cause suddenly change in focus object ( from boll to goalpost) is playing some brain signal and reflex disorder for the doable work to be done from
