Just got a Husqvarna 51 after my late grandfather. Been standing for some years after he past away. Must find some time to go over it, before trying to start it. Good to know china parts works if it comes to that 😊
yes so far the aftermarket parts have been working good 👍🏻
You could have gotten the larger cylinder for the Husky 55. Lots of parts for the 50, 51 and 55 out there. It looks like it leaned out, probably a air leak. Aluminum on the cylinder could be sanded off. I would use the original sir clips.
It’s your little impulse grommet inside the head either you forgot to put it in or it’s leaking around the manifold.
The funny thing is i said that the chain is going to fly right off there at the same time you did. My son and i just looked at each other and said huh lol
Ya I had been beating the crap out of that bar and chain cutting stups off right into the dirt!
Cant get my 51 chainsaw started at all.. has fuel in cumbustipn, spark... bought new coil... cleaned carb... everything sealed good... changed new spark plug, gas ... it wont even Buck at all...
what happens if you put a bi of fuel directly into the cylinder? I have seen the pick ups in the tank plug or the fuel line in the tank deteriorate
@@roadboogalabuilds5318 there is fuel getting to Chamber bc i See it explode when I hold the plug out The hole and pull the Drill button back, to spin The chainsaw to life so I don't have to keep pulling the dang rope.. Yeh... It lights the fuel but when I put the plug in ....nothing Seems to be happening.. its Really far out Idk I might have to tare down to cylinder?
Bar is 41cm or 38cm?
And chain 3.25 or 3/8?
I don’t recall, can’t even measure at the moment saws out in the country right now. It’s not the stock bar it came with I put a larger one on
How’s the Chinese kit running?
it’s been running great 👍🏻
@@roadboogalabuilds5318 my dads favorite saw was a 51 and he has a few of them that are all broken. I want to go through and fix them for him and was curious if the parts would hold up! I’ve never built a saw before and figured it was a good time to try
@@Tcw2019 there fairly simple to work on, just keep the dirt from falling into the crank. Best to give it a good cleaning before taking it apart
