Hey everyone, thank for watching! I'm trying to keep these episodes coming every single week. This might mean that you'll start to see some of the problems I encounter during these restorations. Remember, I am a completely self-taught amateur. So when things go wrong, I have to learn how to fix them. This can be super time-consuming. So in this one, I left the problems in and will fix both the paint and the zinc plating in the next episode, If my new zinc plating kit arrives in time. So glad to see almost everyone is enjoying this series! Thanks for watching.

No youre doing a great job!!!! as a bmw driver and jeff will fix it all type of guy ( car, house, tube amplifiers, etc.) i can tell! There are just a few people that can do it all!!! engine paint and body work etc etc. so be proud! mistakes will happen, leave them in and we all learn!!! great!! looking forward to the next episode!!!!!

Your work is mesmerizing. However premium a BMW is, it is a vehicle mass produced with cost reduction in mind. The immense restoration you put on each part, especially the anti-corrosion treatment, is something even the most prestigious, the most expensive car makers wouldn't even dare to do. You sir, are turning the E30 into a billion dollar car. Kudos.

Its pretty well known about people restoring cars from the ground up. But piece by piece? I think you may be the first person to go to this extent. Well done. This will probably be the cleanest car in existence. Keep up the good work.

Might have been mentioned by others, but an induction heater for stuck nuts and bolts is a lifesaver in the workshop. I work as a bus mechanic, and I don't know how what I would have done without one. You can get fairly cheap portable ones for smaller bolts, it would be perfect for your setup. Just a tip.
Otherwise great work, I love to follow this series.

At 10:46 you were using the adjustables the wrong way. If you turned them around, the jaws would press together when force on the handle is applied adding more grip. Having the jaws going away from the pull opens them up.

Keep up the awesome work, most of my stuff is self taught as well best advise is to find people who have a passion for what your learning and offer some of your time to shops for work your even paying for as the learning experience is typically worth it :)
Interesting you use a blasting pot with cabinet, i just use a pickup tube (venturi effect) in blasting cabinet or bag attached (small filter) will allow constant cycle (until your air compressor needs a rest) , Other option which in long run will benefit you heaps is vapour blasting cabinet (yours current cabinet can be modified easily and or use a water blaster for large items with pickup nozzle) - plenty of guides all over youtube etc and parts probably easily available :)

After seeing you shot blasting rest of the parts I am still a bit confused why you haven't done that with rocker cover... I guess you have your own reasons... waiting for the time all will come together.
