The Terrifying Bermuda Triangle of The East

  • Ships sink in the Laoye Temple waters. Lots of them. This is a phenomenon that has been happening since ancient time, thousands of fishing boats, cargo transporters, and military vessels have been lost. Many go down with no apparent cause at all, they are just sucked down into the abyss below. This area on the east flank of Poyang Lake in China’s Jiangxi province is also known as the “waters of death,” “devil horns,” and the “Bermuda Triangle of the East.” Some say that the ships are sunk by abnormal wind patterns, others say that it’s because of whirlpools, some say it’s magnetic fields causing lightening strikes, while others reach more ominous or mysterious conclusions. Whatever the case, these are some of the most treacherous waters in the world.
Laoye Temple sits before a 24 km channel of water which connects Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China, with the Ganjiang River’s exit point. It sits between 28.22′ - 29.45′ degrees N latitude, roughly the same as that of the Bermuda Triangle in the Caribbean. To go from the Yangtze River to the Pearl River Delta by inland waterways, you go travel through Poyang Lake. To get through Poyang Lake you must go through this channel, which tapers down from a width of 15 km to 3 km directly in front of the temple, is the only way to get to get through here. Likewise, these notorious waters have been a major transport route since the days of China’s ancient porcelain trade.

  • @jamestnov41945

Fascinating and definetly mysterious. When people actually make valiant attempts to discover vessels that sank in relatively shallow water, and end up losing their life, that is a mystery. I am wondering if the authorities ever conducted a sonic map of the lake to try and see what the actual depth is. New technologies can see through layers of silt.
I have two theories, the lake is deeper than people think and the large boats literally become obscured by the lake bottom silt, hence they disappear. Secondly, the large lake has an underwater cave system which creates terrible underwater currents capturing both people and ships.
There has to be a natural cause for all of this.

    • @89tonstar
      @89tonstar 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Both this Chinese version and Bermuda Triangle have been resolved, using EM sensitive equipment. It is an intermittent third electromagnetic pole that sometimes shows up from the earth's core. It happens when a whirlpool of superheated nickel/iron forms against the comparatively cooler higher mantle rock, and as we know from 5th grade science, when you spin hot metal, you get an EM field. It comes and goes as the formations of the inner earth viscously churn and change, and isn't confined to just the Bermuda area. Poles have two ends: the other comes out in South China, (hence this video) which has the exact same phenomenon as the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon, regarding electrical oddities, magnetic fluctuations, auroral effects, lost craft, etc. And since all craft these days are electronically controlled, it doesn't take much influence from such a magnetic field to cause flood doors to open, bilge pumps to malfunction, engines to stop, radios to die, etc. Further, the intensity of what's described in the China phenomenon is very localized, whereas the Bermuda effect is over a far greater area and described as less intense. It might be that the center of the spinning iron responsible for the intermittent 3rd pole is closer to China and further from Bermuda. The field lines of the 3rd pole flow outward in all directions from each pole end, and cause greater effect the nearer the pole is to viewers.

This was awesome, one of my favorites of your videos so far. It sounds like it could be some kind of vortex. At first it occurred to me it could be a natural underwater vortex/event that connects via underwater caves to the body of water that last diver you mentioned was found in. However the account of the bright lights makes me think it's some kind of dimensional imbalance, aliens or most likely of all an aquatic sarlacc pit.

I love your videos! And my dad came up with a theory. It's said that the compasses used in the Bermuda Triangle for some reason stop working and go crazy. My dad thinks that when it goes crazy, people make the mistake of following it, when they should have gone straight. So in planes, they eventually run out of fuel and crash. And the ships probably run into something and wreck. I think the Bermuda Triangle is really interesting tho.

In this video, you mentioned about an incident occurring in 2010. This is something new. In most of the videos of similar nature, incidents/reports are always old (and I mean really old). Even if you mention of accidents from 1980s, it will still be 30-40 year old news.
Does that mean in bermuda triangle/ laoye temple waters; there has been no accidents for the last 30-40 years? It would be so much more exciting if there were similar videos that talk about recent occurrences.

Beyond Science There is actually a pyramid on the bottom of the lake, exactly like at the Bermuda triangle (Bermuda pyramid)
The pyramid makes vibrational distortions of magnetic fields, it would be impossible without the water, because the pyramid has to have a connection to the ionosphere (from which it gets amazing chi) and water has particles of ions. :)

Houssein Ahmed I'd guess the air above the volcanoe would somehow be effected by whatever gasses are released through the water, possibly messing the the height gage and surely there would be some form of magnetic effect from moving magma should there be traces of iron in it? Could just be a combination of extreme natural formations conveniently in the same place, not really bothered by what it is im just sick of all these alien theories haha thanks for the compliment!

  • @pikifamai2160

What if there's a small vortex created under the water caused by a shift in the plates below the ground which causes gapping holes in the ground beneath the water causing the water to be sucked down Into it. The water along with any other ships sailing at that point would be pulled down so deep that the water pressure would crush the ships and cargo..
Also aliens and spirits would be a good explanation too.

I've been to the Bermuda Triangle before for vacation and the flight there was very um...odd...I guess you can say. Cause when we got close to the Island the whether seemed to shift immediately from sunny to very foggy in a instant and when the plane was close to landing the whether shifted back to sunny. So in my own experience I do agree that some strange stuff happens around the Bermuda Triangle that has yet to be explained. Plus I guess I'm lucky that it was just fog and not lighting.

here is just an idea, i know it might sound crazy and a waste of time and money and water, but why don't they drain the lake, and see what is at the bottom of it? Then all they need to do is just dig at the bottom until they can't dig anymore. If they don't find anything then its a phenomenon, and if they find something well then.. good job we actually solved a mystery.

Here's my theory on the lake
Since all the ships and structures that have sank and no wreckage has ever been found, it can be possible that the bottom of the lake is like a quicksand, once the ship hits the bottom of the lake, it gets sucked into the earth, and that's why nothing of the ship can be found
however, i have no explanation for the sudden changes in weather and a storm coming out of no where on a sunny day, i don't know whats going on in this part

First map the area of the shipwrecks. Determine a pattern, and drain the lake completely in that area. Whatever is down there will be found.

why is it that so many people have died and people still travel on the waters. you would think it would be a taboo subject by now to travel through that section of the lake.

Why don't they put a tracker on the boats? When they go down they would still function to let you know it's location or if it doesn't ping back a location then maybe you're looking at interdimensional travel via lake bed.

fascinating. without further data anything is speculation however it is reasonably safe to say that " something extremely unusual" is at the heart of this mystery. Or, in other words " weird s**t is happening there".

Possibly gravitic anomalies caused by plate shifts or even an underwater nexus linking the lakes, sucking down the ships. The storms may possibly be caused by drastic temperate shifts similar to miniature, short monsoons.

Perhaps it is a vast cave system that acts like a sink hole. The lights people report could just be a visual artifact of the sound/vibrations.

I think that's some sort of defense weapon made millions of years ago, and yeah we don't know how advanced people millions years ago since different tools are being recovered aged millions of years ago. So that's what I think, a defense weapon is made to protect that area. There's some things we cannot explain or understand because we don't know how was it made. Well, again, this is all my imagination haha

Isn't this also known as the dragons triangle, My dad often watches ancient aliens a documentary (sometimes ludicrous, I have watched some of them) and I think there was an episode about this, they called it the dragons triangle although they did not discuss the incidents that you spoke about in this video, I really would like to go there and do some investigating myself. It is one of the few mysteries that seem valid as a proper mystery

Through a couple bombs down there if it was a living creature good job but now you've pissed it off and is eating what ever is left there I also think that since there's three of these triangles in the world and a triangle has three corners and also in the bible the evil trinity with the lamb that sparks like a dragon a leopard with seven heads and the dragon (a.k.a the devil) many they are involved I'd look into it if I were you. Be open minded about this post ok!!

All of those boats were metal. Why is nobody thinking "magnetic field"? The screeching could have been the boat's compression, and the light could have been produced by something similar to a large angler fish.

I watched another video about this battle, it was said that it happened on the Poyung Lake and not the Poyang, course they didn't mention anything about a turtle. Maybe all the world needs is TURTLE POWER!! I thought that they had gotten the depth messed up too. I think that they said like 30 feet or even 30 miles, but it wouldn't make any kind of sense how so many ships could sink and never be found. I believe that there is a possibility that both triangles are just gateways to other dimensions or universes.

  • @akragray2416

Shadowdude14: My theory is it is possible that thousands of years ago, there could have been military activity going on in the triangular area and an army ( human or alien) or even just a group, could have corrupted the waters, supernaturally or scientifically, as part of their effort to achieve whatever goal they had. But everyone's guess is as good as mine.
