The big mystery...all of the phenomena can be explained by extreme weather and the gulf stream. The blueness of the sky reflects on the water, causing what looks like blue fog. The key thing as a mariner is to not get disoriented and trust your instruments. Also have GPS. Now, extreme lightning storms can affect your compass. Head into the seas the way they were coming to maintain your direction. Also in this area, there are waterspouts, "a strange cloud". This is an ocean tornado. To navigate this area, you have to anticipate.

I like how at the end the guy tries to equate the narratives of legend and pop culture trope with peer-reviewed science, as though rigorous, repeatable, documented and measurable observation is just as much of a fairy tale as any old tall tale told by the guy in the pub. It's not that I think we're always going to be able to explain everything, it's just that people who are interested in figuring out what's really true cannot achieve that by leaping over the most probable explanations to reach for the most sensational (and least likely) explanations. The mundane is, almost by definition, the most likely to be true and therefore, also the most common, banal, and least exciting. That is how the universe generally works, even if it isn't how humans and our entertainment work.

@@quantumpotential7639boy they've got you fooled. There are not "hundreds of thousands" of wrecks. There are maybe a few hundred, but you can find the same thing all over the ocean floor. There are more shipwrecks along the Carolinas and Virginia coast than in the Bermuda Triangle. The only anomaly is the occasionally odd behavior of compasses. That is some big rouge wave. If a wave is 30 metes high this means the wave was 100 feet high. Is this possible? In reality is it possible missing boats , ships and planes go into a different dimension . Or a paralelle universe. A time warp. If compases go crazy this does not make any logical sense.

Maybe just maybe The ship that went missing Turn upside down and Buried at self. I'm saying upside down. And with the cargo, be real heavy. And the bottom of the ocean being Soft Got Buried almost all the way and Within time It's all covered up in the Bottom of the ocean. It was overloaded With The heavy Cargo That's why nobody ever Heard or seen it anymore. Crazy that nobody knows what happened. I'm just saying I'm just interested in this show. Wow Just saying people😊

Are they going to say that the strange anomaly of weather that has been reported with the incidents are caused by the volcano's magnetic properties that they are saying may be why the compass is malfunctioning? Now why don't they try to explain the ( strange weather events) and stay "fashionable" , LoL... It's another unexplained event in the Bermuda triangle.

I think it's obvious what happened with the planes the guy had been brought their the leader of the squadron had been brought their from the Gulf of Mexico. He saw islands and somehow thought that he had crossed Florida and got into the Gulf of Mexico so he was trying to go the way you would go to get back home from the Gulf of Mexico but he wasn't in the Gulf of Mexico he was 100 miles off the coast of North Carolina

I know it's the ships that were lost that are really mysterious cuz some of those ships were practically unsinkable and they were lost in calm weather not even not even a storm and they just disappeared and then how about the flying plane why did it disappear the flying plane could have landed on the water if they lost power

    • @kimberlym5988

Nothing is unsinkable. Not to mention, in the ocean, bad weather can come up out of the blue. Add in human error, panic, faulty equipment, inexperience and the like and disasters happen.
