The first part of this 2 part series covers my journey from Shoranur Jn to Karmali (in Goa). The train was heavily delayed on Konkan Railway. The journey was in AC Economy (3E). The train was hauled by a WAP7 of Royapuram Shed.

Thrilling non-stop run between Shoranur-Kozhikode and Kannur-Managalore. Useful for CLT-KNR bound yathrees of EKM-TCR. In this part we could witness Greenery almost entire part providing little bit consolation for numerous stoppages. Thanks for this wonderful video

2 days back, I had a Journey on Matsyagandha Express between Mangaluru cntrl to murudeshwar.
It took nearly 4.5 hrs to reach..
Except Innanje station, We had an Unscheduled halt at every stations along with the Scheduled halt .
I had ride on same day , The Saturday
Literally got Exhausted Looking up Unscheduled halts.
Loved it

I had traveled in Mangala to Delhi in 2003. It was alco upto Igatpuri and a Wammie-4 to Delhi.
There was a long wait at Igatpuri and the ERS Alco was parked on the line exactly opposite to my coach. I still remember the idling sounds for a long time due long wait.

One off the mysteries for me is why is panchaganga nor officially extended to Madgaon, as it always goes to madgaon daily for maintenance. The locals use the train between karwar- madgaon- Karwar anyways. + First hand info!)
why few trains towards malabar ,afternoon from thrissur side and palakkad side ..very risk to travel...what is your opinion ?
Please includes inside of train also sleeper class seats and AC class seats this video only includes outside view
Every train has the same interior. It's monotonous to keep showing the same interiors.

Doubt if anybody can say that. Please file an RTI with the railways to find the official version
Without pantry car how pax get food? Eventually this long distance service with less stops certainly stops less than 5 minutes except main jn/crew change points.
And food on stations to access is very difficult to much pax.
On Board catering is available - but not fully reliable. You also have eCatering - that is expensive and doesn't really work for everyone!

Kerala Express would be better for an end to end, because KR does become monotonous after a few videos.
It's high time that the Rly board will search for the location to construct new terminal in Mangalore and double KR network to overcome delay
There is enough space to expand both the Mangalore stations - there is no need for a new terminal
@@Platform7byBinaiSankar but when ever we request new trains they will come up with non availability of PF, path constraints, so keeping future requirements 10 yrs down the line they should plan now itself

I think the journey is upto karmali. But one don't see Mathura junction as per the title!
