Yeah, the other thing about the pastels is that since I'm using Liquitex as a sealant only on certain parts of the face, the pastels don't stick as well as they would if I used a spray-on sealant, like Mr. Super Clear. As soon as the weather gets warmer where I live I'm going to try that out and then maybe I can step up my pastel game :)
I love the doll, it's so beautiful! But is it possible to zoom in your camera a bit more while doing the faceup? It's quite hard to see the details you are adding... :/

Outright gorgeous! You did her so much justice. I sewed a few Plushies of Primarina back when she was first revealed, and used the exact same ribbon you used for her chest-piece and frills!

Ever since Dollightful did her entire eevee evolution series I've been trying to find other people doing Pokemon theme dolls. I love the two that you've done here and would love to see more.
I'm not really interested in Pokémon from a gaming perspective, it's too complicated in my opinion. But the concept of little creatures that represent different ideas, with a few basic themes (the "Types") is perfect for doll customs and other character designs. And through the doll community I'm starting to like the little guys!
I know this post is old and i'm not trying to press the games on you but pokemon is actually pretty basic. All you need to do is check a little chart to compare typings (to make sure your not weak to something and vice versa), level up your pokemon, and be prepared with heling items and such, that's kind of it. The most fun thing for me is picking which pokemon I like the best because there are sooo many to pick from regardless of what someone's taste is. I thought it would be complicated before I got my first game but it's much simpler than its made out to be.
I love every Pokemon starter and personally I think poplio is the cutest 🤗🤗🤗 And I love how poplio turns from a cute little seal to a pop star to a princess Keep going I 💜💙💚💛❤️ur content
When it comes to art styles and doll customs I am really quite picky, but I really love this doll! You can really see the improvement in the brush work! I never knew you could do that with acrilic! Overall, she looks amazing!!
