Great video, thanks! Just an FYI, you don’t need to jack the car up and take the tire off, you can get enough access by turning the wheel all the way right or left (right to do the drivers side, left to do the passenger). Just did them both, takes about 5-10 minutes each side, just understand how the clip releases. And I found it odd that the clip on both sides releases to the left just like you show. So the drivers side is identical, push the clip to the left (‘away from the engine on that side)
Thank you. I've been looking for lots of tutorials but all of them only show tutorials for the 328i with a halogen version. Mine is the version with the genuine BMW hid and mine also move up and down or follow the road when you're turning
hi bro please help me out... i have the same bmw 3 series f30 with xenon and i was planning to upgrade my lights as the visibility has degraded over the years and i wanted something bright... so i had the plan to change both low and high beams... but as you only changed one bulb on each side so does the low and high beams both work only through one bulb or will i need change the low and high both? and also are these bulbs brighter than the oem ones? please help me out
It's the same bulb for both high and low beans. Depending on which ones you buy it's either brighter or worse. Don't buy cheap ones. Also higher kelvin means whiter light until like 6500k then it goes more towards blue but gives less brightness. OEM is 4600k but I'd recommend 5000k
That’s a beautiful car and you really keep it sooo clean!! You are an inspiration for my BMW. I’ll spend some money to update mine as well. Good job!!! Btw, I don’t need to remove the tire, just turn it all the way and you’ll have access to replace the lights 😉
Great video bro. You don't have to necessarily take the front wheels off. I was able to do it by just locking the wheels all the way and had enough room to get in there

You sure do need to remove the wheel if trying to shoot a good video.
This was best video on replacing Oem bulbs with xenon
Of course you have to have the Xenon system in the first place
Thanks for this, just lost my right low beam today. Also hope too see an update on your oil pan gasket, I believe I have the same issue.
Thanks for the video. Ordered the same bulbs & easily installed, because of the explanation about pushing and moving the clip to the left 👍
Is it good quality?
Easy peasy. I also didn't jack the car up. Thanks man.
Why did the wheel come off?
thanks bro i did a change long time ago and for some reason i was having a hard time this time around and ur video came on. help tones thanks

Just installed same today. They’re super white 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Great vid boss! Love how you explain everything
Adding my thanks here. Video was super helpful as were many of the comments
can i ask what model and year it is for your F30? is it 2017 lci?
It’s a 2014 335i pre LCI
will a bulb from a F20 fit the F30 ?assuming both are xenons?
Bro everything worked perfect but putting that metal harness back on any suggestions ?
Push in them press down. It catches the harness tip from the bottom
Did you remove the splitter yourself or the car have other ideas

Hi thanks for the video, I have a 2013 328ix F30 Sport package (not Msport). How can I find out if I have Xenon or Halogen lights? Thanks.
If your headlights look like mine then you have xenons which are LED. Halogens have the older amber look with no LEDs
I bought ds1 Xenons and also a left headlight module and next day my right low beam doesn’t work. What it could be?
Great video bro. You don't have to necessarily take the front wheels off. I was able to do it by just locking the wheels all the way and had enough room to get in there
Mine needed to be pushed in hard and given a clockwise twist. Tight fit. Needed to take wheel off. 2 hr job
If u convert them to leds u think it would throw a code ?
Possibly. But it could be codded out
You got the video for high beams thanks 😊
hey will this work on the 428i?
Yes
Those xenon bulb still working to this day ?
Yep
Are Low Beams D3S HID or D1S 6k?
This video helped out a lot thanks!
After one year, how are the aftermarket Xenon bulbs holding up for reference?
Still holding up excellent. Brightness is still exactly the same as when I first put them in
Do you have to disconnect the battery?
I didn't
Should definitely have checked the beam pattern after replacing the bulbs as you could have thrown the adjustment way out when replacing them.
That’s a good idea. But they ended up being fine.
What is a beam pattern?
@@checkthisjunkout Where the light shines in order to be road legal? Your headlights have to point at the road and not at peoples eyes?
Ok gotcha. How do you adjust the beams on the F30?
It is very unlikely to put the bulb in bad position
Are the bulbs still running good???
Yepp. No issues
You don’t have to remove the wheel just turn them in word and you can remove the covers
thanks made it easy did both sides in 20 mins
Great video 💪the new ones are 6000k , how about the old ones default?
Thank you bro
ay thanks man ive been looking for new bulbs i aint tryna get the oem ones
They’re still working great since installed these👍
Thank you brother
I have a low beam malfunction, I switched the light bulb but it still doesn't work.
If it still doesn’t work, I would think that has something to do with the electrical system/connection if even the new bulb still doesn’t work.
@@InlineSixAuto ah man fuck! Thanks bro.
@@juanvargas211 this happened to me too, did you figure out what it was ?
@@this9103 yeah it was a loose wire.
@@juanvargas211 did you take yours to a mechanic? If so how much did they charge you
Terrible video, kept screen drifting, barely seen anything. Awful…..
I just put those on my BMW 335I M sport
And I love it thank you 🙏
