I have been following Yaya and Lele for three years. I've been watching the live camera at the Memphis Zoo every night, and I've been recording the screen. My eyes are the evidence, my video is the evidence. And I'm not the only one, so many people who love Yaya and Lele have videos. Lele was unwell four times in late December and January, one of which was so bad that he rolled all over the floor in great pain, and that time Lele peed blood. After I saw Lele's appearance on the live camera, I sent two urgent emails to the Memphis Zoo and they were all ignored. The same thing happened after that. The last time was January 31, and Lele didn't want to come to the pavilion because he wasn't feeling well, so he wandered out at the entrance. He smelled the first pile of bamboo, and before he could eat it, he fainted a bit. He barely got up, climbed to the second pile of bamboo, but he couldn't hold the bamboo because he was having difficulty with his body, and he fainted. I immediately emailed the Memphis Zoo and asked the vet to check on Lele, but she didn't show up until Lele died. She said there was a lot of monitoring in the zoo's Lele room and would be watching Lele .. all lies! I am outraged! I have proof!

Then yaya got pregnant at 2007 january, memphis zoo was very happy and excited and treated yaya pretty good. But then they found out Yaya miscarried her baby, and because of that america needs to pay a lot of money, and I think they weren’t happy about that and they started treating Yaya and Lele unfairly. We all know panda's likes to eat bamboo’s and fruits right? Memphis zoo do give them bamboos but they are not fresh at all! they sold all the fresh bamboo to canada and Yaya and Lele only have dried and thin bamboo! they actually weren’t even edible! An average panda eats up to 26-84 pounds of bamboo per day, but memphis zoo only give about 24 pounds of bad, thin bamboo for both Yaya and Lele. That caused Yaya and Lele being skinny and having health issues, panda is not suppose to look like that! Other pandas gets treats like apples and grapes but Yaya and Lele only get about 2-4 piece of grape a week or month, they have never had 1 single bite of an apple. Because of that some zoo keepers also mistreat them, they never play with them, or hug them! If you see the Memphis zoo live camera some zoo keepers even kick Yaya and Lele now and before. Some of us know Yaya and Lele have an outside yard but I have never seen them out there! Do you want to know why? because Yaya and Lele is locked in that small room and is only let out twice! And that caused Yaya and Lele to have mental problems and stress problems and is known to be called Zoochosis, they bang their head up and down for hours, walk in circles continuously, that is not how a normal panda should behave! They did not give Yaya and Lele one, Yaya and Lele had to watch other animals eating that delicious slice of pumpkin..., if you all check the panda at Japan, treated SO well, they even collected XiangXiangs poop. And also russia, we know russia is not in a good place right now but we can't deny that they treat our panda well, Yuan Run was 200 pound when he was sent to russia, but now he is 240 pounds, we all know a panda should weigh about 120-250 pounds, but yaya and lele only weighs about 80 pounds. Also the Korean panda Fubao, the zookeeper treated Fubao as his own grandson, just about 2 years he made over 60 toys for fubao, and even taught him chinese because he was scared fubao dont know chinese. And the rest of the pandas is living their best lives out there. We also should not for get the other American Panda Meixiang, i dont know much about MeiXiang but I know she is mistreated, and she don't even get bamboos sometimes, they feed her ice. Yes i know, Ice. MeiXiang even had to eat ice at winter. Now Lele is gone...China have the right to get Leles body back, it is the law to get Lele back, but instead of returning Lele, they turned Lele into a taxidermist and is put into a museum... I cannot stop crying when seeing Lele. Let me share a story of Lele's short life in this world. Lele, a lovely boy, was born in the Chongqing Zoo in China on 18 July, 1998, and he died on 1 February, 2023 in the Memphis Zoo in the United States. When Lele was only 6 months old, he was sent to the Shanghai Zoo, which means he left his mom in Chongqing. On 7 April 2003, Lele was sent to Memphis with Yaya. Memphis selected Lele and Yaya because they were the most beautufil pandas at that time and they both have a nice character, trusting and listening to humans. Lele has a very round face and loves playing. During the 20 years at Memphis Zoo, Lele and Yaya were treated as experiment objects for artificial insemination. But Memphis Zoo does NOT offer enough food or any fresh bamboo for the pandas. Everyday, the two pandas beg for food. Their skin issues and other health issues are ignored. In 2013, there were tourists that left comments of Memphis Zoo, saying the pandas were malnorished and looked very unhealthy. One month before Lele died, many people found Lele's serious health condition from the live camera, and they informed the Memphis Zoo, but the zoo kept ignoring, and they also turned off comments and blocked honest people on their social media. The breeder even put the very old bamboo pole on the tree that Lele was too weak to reach. All the staff at Memphis ignored Lele, and finally Lele was found died long time after he actually died. The zoo said lele died of heart disease and lele has gene issues. This saying is obviousing cheating the public. Lele's parents are both healthy and they lived beyond 30 years old. Lele's parents are also the most loyal couple among all pandas - they only recoginise each other as their unique partner since they first met. Lele died during the Chinese spring festival in 2023. People found there are blood holes on his body, which means he suffered consistent experiments. I know only one paragraph here won't be able to summarise everything of Lele. I only hope every zoo can respect and love innocent animals, as they also make money for those people. Please respect all lives. I also hope everyone can remember our baby Lele forever. Lele, sorry we are late. We will bring you and Lele back home. Yaya also miss you a lot. Lele, please rest in peace, there is always a place for you in my heart.

I cannot stop crying when seeing Lele. Let me share a story of Lele's short life in this world. Lele, a lovely boy, was born in the Chongqing Zoo in China on 18 July, 1998, and he died on 1 February, 2023 in the Memphis Zoo in the United States. When Lele was only 6 months old, he was sent to the Shanghai Zoo, which means he left his mom in Chongqing. On 7 April 2003, Lele was sent to Memphis with Yaya. Memphis selected Lele and Yaya because they were the most beautufil pandas at that time and they both have a nice character, trusting and listening to humans. Lele has a very round face and loves playing. During the 20 years at Memphis Zoo, Lele and Yaya were treated as experiment objects for artificial insemination. But Memphis Zoo does NOT offer enough food or any fresh bamboo for the pandas. Everyday, the two pandas beg for food. Their skin issues and other health issues are ignored. In 2013, there were tourists that left comments of Memphis Zoo, saying the pandas were malnorished and looked very unhealthy. One month before Lele died, many people found Lele's serious health condition from the live camera, and they informed the Memphis Zoo, but the zoo kept ignoring, and they also turned off comments and blocked honest people on their social media. The breeder even put the very old bamboo pole on the tree that Lele was too weak to reach. All the staff at Memphis ignored Lele, and finally Lele was found died long time after he actually died. The zoo said lele died of heart disease and lele has gene issues. This saying is obviousing cheating the public. Lele's parents are both healthy and they lived beyond 30 years old. Lele's parents are also the most loyal couple among all pandas - they only recoginise each other as their unique partner since they first met. Lele died during the Chinese spring festival in 2023. People found there are blood holes on his body, which means he suffered consistent experiments. I know only one paragraph here won't be able to summarise everything of Lele. I only hope every zoo can respect and love innocent animals, as they also make money for those people. Please respect all lives. I also hope everyone can remember our baby Lele forever. Lele, sorry we are late. We will bring you and Lele back home. Yaya also miss you a lot. Lele, please rest in peace, there is always a place for you in my heart.
