That CTS-V needs to race those cars from a dig with some slicks in the back and on a drag strip with a lot of heat in them and then things would be a little different. Still got em from a dig though. Nice video. Sweet cars!
Tommy Zupsick there's stock v's with factory tires that have been high 11'. Look it up, don't know the story on this car but new tires or a better driver may help the cause
And remember everyone, not only is the RS impressive from a dig and in a straight line (however def not the fastest ever in a line) the car handles amazingly well. It's such an engaging driving experience. These are just straight line races, but that RS on a road course is an absolute BLAST
All these videos tell me one thing: the driveline components of the Focus RS are not as weak as we thought they were :p Man does this grey car get abused
CTS can't deal with the lanches on the RS and R . I want to see the R vs RS , I know stock vs stock RS wins easily but the R has I think a stronger turbo. Which means when modified I believe the R has a higher ceiling than the RS , Ford is known for maxing out small turbo's from the factory , where as VW usually puts slightly bigger turbo's that are pretty detuned from the factory spec.
I'm glad I didn't pay 50k or more to only win races from a dig. If you paid mark up on an RS I feel bad for you. You got duped. I'll wait to trade my ST for one at half the price

Both the RS and R were literally putting 7-8 car lengths on the V within a few seconds which should not happen if he's pulling on them from a roll the way he did. Dude needs to wake up.

Not necessarily true. Just need to be more attentive to throttle and launch on RWD over AWD cars like this. Easier to launch AWD cars though.
1200 lbs? Just 600-700 lbs. The CTS-V isn't *that* heavy... the RS is some 3500 lbs.
