A man I worked with made a average of 90k a year and his wife was a instructor at a college, they had a pretty decent household income. His old truck was getting unreliable so he bought a new truck. A stripped down Chevy S10, no power options, am/fm radio, steel wheels with wheel covers and a manual transmission. The wife drove a Saturn that was one step up from the base model, she wanted power windows. This was in the mid 90s so their 150k yearly income was pretty decent. They could have easily bought more expensive vehicles but they only seen a vehicle as something to get from point A to point B. Edit to add, they wrote a check for both vehicles.
That was sort of us when my wife replaced a 21 year old 1991 Toyota Camry with a lightly used 2012 Toyota Venza and when I bought my barely used 2013 Yamaha FJR1300 in 2014. Didn't quite have *that* sort of income but we paid cash both times.
@@johncasteel1780 Other than my house, it's close to being paid off, I do not owe anything or anyone. Wife drives a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and my primary is my built 2007 Ram 2500 diesel 4×4. The Jeep was bought new, wrote the check and my truck was bought in 2017, wrote that check also. Both vehicles were bought from saving up money. My truck took my 5 years to save for. We don't make a lot but when you get to keep what you earn and have some patience you can do it. Congratulations on winning.
I can't stand when these women say "If I would have known you were more POWERFUL than the Gods on EARTH..... I would have NEVER treated you the way I DID!!!!!!!!" I don't know, how about NOT treating people like that period!!!!!!!!!!
TLDR; Arrogant, selfish, gambling wife Julie steals her husband's car and dents it, and then tries to force Mia, the CEO of the company her husband works at, to be her chauffeur. Of course, Julie backpedals when she realizes who she's messing with, and her husband divorces her. Seriously, people, would it kill you to TRY and be polite to people, regardless of their status?
What's interesting is I've recently moved to a position at work that makes me responsible for the entire campus and houses outside of campus. When I 1st started ppl who knew treated me like a Gustavo or cop that was out to end them. But I truly took this position to be able to help everyone because I really care. I see my good works every day and truly try to use my position to help and uplift everyone to the best of my ability. Life here on earth is short so I want my life here to have meaning and make a difference. I truly appreciate this story so much. Thank you all who read this.
>Julia whining about Mia getting Julia's husband involved when it's a matter between the two women Aren't you the one threatening to fire someone's husband if they didn't do as you say Julia? I hope her ex-husband is doing well since he was embarrassed enough to move out after the divorce. I dunno if Julia learned her lesson like Mia said but she probably regrets her behavior since she has nowhere to go. If she's lucky she'll find a job that offers housing. Too bad she can't act like an entitled house wife anymore like in the last housing for employees.
Theoretically, a company doesn't have the right to demand a spouse, ie, a non-employee, attend a meeting. I suppose if they're living in corporate housing that might change things, though... 🤔
@SilkandStones I'm certainly not. Not only is ASMR annoying to my ears, it's not appropriate in this type of story. Especially since she's clearly overstepping her bounds by discussing her employee's marriage.
Other corporations have them in Asia. Mostly for entry level employees but sometimes for Families so they can easily transfer them from location to location across the smaller offices that they own.
at 12:01 "I can't allow this" okay, good. I'll tell your husband that you told me, that you can't allow divorce. and then let's see what the divorce lawyers have to say. but apparently he is not allowed to divorce.

Unfortunately no one can force anyone, to to do what they do not want to do.
This has to be the 3rd story with this senario
At 8 minutes, there is no need to say anything. Just hold the meeting and see the shock on everyone's face.
I would SO spread this everywhere. I don't do anything people tell me to. If not, $100 an hour. Can't pay, go get your own car.

Oh hello just so you know that isn't a new story it's placed here from their other site..
@@gaylenewood7707 These sites are recycling other stories. Yes, I've seen lots of similar scenarios.
I think I heard a similar story on another platform.
Yeah mac apple.
Man I can do without the nasally voice at the end
The little "girlie girlie" voices don't work well with these scenarios.
Rich mom? So these women’s whole identity is being a mom?
yes and the richest rules them all...lol
THAT GO FOR EVERYONE TOO
Shallow lifes....sad
No it’s her delusion

If a spouse is demanding service from husbands coworkers because she is the wife and threatens their jobs that becomes a company problem.
The other option would be to fire the husband for something his wife did that he doesn't know about.
What is it with the asmr voice??

she sounds too soft spoken to stand up for herself

If you have to "show your class", you don't have any.
What is an "employee residence"? Do these people work and live communally?
Amazon calls them 'corporate dormitories'... apartment complexes for employees only.
Other corporations have them in Asia. Mostly for entry level employees but sometimes for Families so they can easily transfer them from location to location across the smaller offices that they own.
