I can't wait for this race!! So stoked. And #2 was my fav water crossing.

Right!?! I’m running Black Canyon 100K the following weekend… but it’d be hard to resist the 21K… 😸

Watch out for the mountain bikes😄
Sycamore Canyon has so many nice trails. Wonder how much they charge to park in the park?
Not a very big lot..... Can park on PCH, but at some risk of vandals..

Oooph good tip! I’m from Connecticut, the birth place of Lyme (this kid I used to babysit in Old Lyme had a tick as the mascot for their lacrosse team 😹 always thought that was funny) - but I forget about ticks out here!

Thanks for helping me with the km to miles math ;-) Beautiful area! Looks like a great time and a fun race course. Good luck in Feb! How do you like your TERREX vest compared to the Salomon vests? One of the things that I love about the Speed Ultra's is that they don't hold onto much water making river crossings less concerning. Great video!

The TERREX vest is perfect for most things as far as compartments/storage/water space - I can easily access everything on my back and I wouldn’t say I have flexible shoulders or anything special lol 😹. A loonngggg unsupported effort might require the cargo capacity of a Salomon vest. Thanks Chad! 🙃
