The messmer boss fight is phenomenal in shadow of the erdtree but it came at a cost of my maidens and my foolish ambitions.
We have finished the game on stream, beat the final boss and will definitely be returning to the base game to clap some bosses. BTW WHY ARE ALL THE DLC WEAPONS SO GOATED?!?!

31:23 That last go at Messmer with the backhand blades has to be one of the most cinematic looking fights I’ve ever seen in this game, legit looked like an anime fight. I’m halfway through the main game and getting to Mogh soon, once I beat him hopefully I can get those backhand blades myself to face Melenia.
