Jean Lenke & The Roses

Jean’s Red Rose Quartet & Quintet celebrate the many wonderful women composers and lyricists that have contributed to our extensive Jazz & Popular Music Catalogue! Each concert highlights music from the early 20th century to today, and is presented by some of the area's most talented Jazz musicians.
Music selections include pieces written by Dorothy Fields, Mary Lou Williams, Marian MacPartland, Abbey Lincoln, Dolly Parton, Lizz Wright, Joni Mitchell, K.D. Lang, Billy Holiday & so many more.

Concert musicians include primer Women & Women Identifying Musicians from the Greater Seattle are as well as musicians form all over the county, per the event location. The Roses are available for all sorts of appearances - School Concerts, Intimate Ticketed Concerts and Summer Festival Stages.
