Crossover jazz-folk fusion artist Jean Lenke has been creating diverse live music for many years. As a performing artist, composer, lyricist, and bandleader she brings the joy of her parent’s music of the 1940’s together with the spirit of the Folk & Jazz-Rock Fusion soundtrack of her own youth in an eclectic mix ~ familiar, yet slightly off center, with haunting appeal.

I'm working on a new album with some incredible Seattle musicians ~ to be released in late 2021/22 ~ beautiful selection of favorite Jazz & Folk tunes - Joni Mitchell, Abbey Lincoln, Sandy Denny, Ritchie Havens... with new twists & turns... chasing that dream!

Whether performing with an intimate acoustic Duo or Trio, with her 6-piece "Jean Therapy West Summer Band”, with the "Jean Therapy X" Jazz-Fusion Quartet, or with her all women Red Rose Quintet (AKA: "The Dirty Jazz Gurls", Jean’s fresh approach to Classic Jazz is influenced by an eclectic mix of mid-century Folk, Jazz-Rock Fusion and a Soulful heartfelt passion for life.
