Cause i Asked my Father to get a sunroof in my Baleno and he got afraid and said , chalan ho jaeyga ,......
I suggested to do the rti for the question...it will resolve the issue
As per my knowledge every state has different RTO rules in state para...so there may be an issues but Indian RTO rule does jot have any issue or Guidelines about the sunroof...so it's not illegal as per my knowledge

Actually, for the pedestrians safety bull bar, anchor and winch are not allowed in the front....but special vehicles like towing and pulling vehicles are granted to attach some of this device in the front for that you just need to get permission from RTO....
Contact any RTO agent or the private firm they will guide you....

for a such type of modification there is no proper guideline from RTO, But i think you can because it under light has no impact on others unless it's to bright or sharp

It's not illegal because, agar aap dual tone vali car ki Rc book check karoge to usme main body color mention hota roof ka color nahi....isliye shayd permission ki jarurat nahi padegi...
