I have the CF650NK and it's a great bike. At half the price of a CB650 it was a non brainer for me. Includes build in sat nav and tracker plus much more.
I bought one last November and it has plenty of performance for me. The reason it feels so lovely is th gearing. The previous version with the same engine had a top speed (claimed) of 129 mph. This version has had the gearing altered so the top speed is now only a claimed 105mph (still plenty for UK roads) but the acceleration is much friskier!
A great in-depth review, the price seems so of dropped another £500 since your review, some are now selling for £3,999. Thanks for sharing and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤙 🤟
Good Morning Dave , As you said Dave for the price you can't beat it & it will put a lot of riders on the road with a new bike instead of buying 2nd hand , take care till the next time
You will be pleased to know that the horrendous potholes on the roundabout just outside Boston Spa have today been repaired so you can now filter on to said roundabout without fear of being throw over the handlebars , your next trip to Squires or Eddy's in Tadcaster will be much smoother 😄
The 1st bike I thought of when I saw this at the start of your video was “KTM” and then you mentioned that they are involved… 😅 Definitely worth a test ride.
Morning Dave, CFMoto have certainly upped their game in recent years and a cracking review to boot however I couldn’t help but notice that the left hand mirror looks at a strange angle and once you’ve seen it you can’t unsee it 😜 carry on that man Caio for now tat ta👍🏻
Here in Oz it's priced at the same level (AUD$8590 = GBP4532) ride away with 6 months rego, but the warranty is 3 years, not 4; there's another 1 year available if the bike's always serviced by a CF Moto dealer. The styling isn't for me, but that's subjective; I doubt that my old knees/hips would be comfortable with those angles, however. Good value they undoubtably are and, having previously owned a Chinese bike in the Philippines - a Skygo Earl Classic, really a Lifan - I had no problems with fit/finish/reliability.
Looking at the bike from the side, that engine & rear suspension looks like a Kawasaki Versys Z650 engine but like you say they work in collaboration with KTM for some of their engines, so bullet proof and should serve you well for many happy years ahead 🏍️😊
Wow TBW, this in comparison to the other CFMoto models is old to the newer ones. Well done! Surprisingly it uses a similar version Kawasaki 650 engine from years ago.
Agreed. This has a lot of Kawasaki ER6 about it, especially that offset rear shock. That's no bad thing considering how popular ER6's were 25 odd years ago. This CF Moto's got decent DNA in its veins.
Great review. I should let you know... i discovered i had been unsubscribed from your channel this morning when this vlog turned up in recommended rather than my notifications. Stuart F has experienced a lot of this going on on his channel, i hope it's not going to be an on-going problem for you. 🙏
Incredible value the CF Moto range Dave. The 650GT is sadly being dropped in favour of the more usual "Adventure style" bikes. But where stock of these is available, they're knocking them out at £4499 on the road (4 year warranty too!) which is an absolute bargain! I hope there will be a more touring focused version of the new KTM800 based bikes in the future too.
Correct again Dave, only the grey pound and silver surfers can afford the recognised brands now. The younger market can’t afford to get on the ladder or afford insurance so I’m glad the Chinese manufacturers are available to help those newer riders into the market. Yes they are to be fully tested but I would certainly consider one now. I probably lose more in depreciation from the brands I’ve had than what a new Chinese bike costs. If it lasts 4 years I could probably throw it away and still be better off. I remember the Japanese entering the market all those years ago and what was said about them - wrongly. It was the British stuff that was unreliable and that’s why they disappeared and had to be reborn many years later.
Wise words pal yes with a 4 year warranty you can ride it into the ground and just scrap it at the end. It’s the early Japanese prejudice all over again
Well that is cheap £4.500 you can’t get a good second hand from the bigger boys for that I know the quality isn’t as good as the others but with a 4 yr warranty you can’t go wrong really even on a low budget you could swap it in for a new one day every 3 years so got to be a good thing for some people and even looks is up there with the manufactures all good from my opinion ride safe
Dunno bout husky. But I own a 650 and work at cf dealer ... they do own 51% of the engineering side. They also collaborate on design. CF are doing alot more cool sh%t than that right now though ! More great things to come. Remember folks... Hyundai was a laughing stock... honda... Suzuki... even Porsche were judged harshly. Don't be fooled by the fools who miss the boat.
This CF Moto is a typical 2024 motorcycle: no centerstand and no functional mudguards, and it looks like something I would stomp on, if I found it on my bathroom floor. Practical it is not.
Ummm... it might come as a surprise to you that some folk just simply want to turn the ignition on, start up and go have a local blast for 15 to 20 miles. Not all bikes need to be loaded with luggage, a multitude of tech and conveniences to enjoy. Styling is subjective, that's a given.
@@Beanerds How do I know this? I look at it. It has no centerstand and that front mudguard is much too short to be of any use, anyone can see that. And I think it's ugly as sin, but that's subjective, so if you disagree, fair enough.
Nice video again. You mentioned the pot holes , they could fill a few of them in using some of the £76,000,000 per WEEK spent on asylum seekers couldnt they , or perhaps not. Sorry.

CFMoto are the best Chinese brand. Reliable bikes.
They manufacture bikes for KTM :D we all know the notorious reliability of KTMs :D
@mannyechaluce3814 they manufacture an engine with a good record of reliability for KTM….ive never heard of the 790 engine failing

Fair, open and unbiased, once again, Dave. 👍
Cheers Mark

Cheers Bob it’s a right old mystery
They took styling cues from Suzuki’s GSXS1000 without a doubt. By all accounts CF moto are meant to be decent bikes.

It’s a good bike period.
Thanks for the confirmation 🎉🎉
I've been in two big dealers in the last couple of weeks. Now £3999 for the 650NK. £2999 for the 300NK.
This machine uses a Kawasaki engine which has powered many great bikes like Ninja 650
Although the Kawasaki engine produces 68 BHP and 64 nm of torque.
Correct me if I'm wrong but my KTM dealer told me that Cfmoto owns 51% of KTM & Husky and manufacturing has been transferred to China

Very good points made there indeed 👍🏻

Nice tiny pics I can't see. Maybe on purpose....
What tiny pics?
Heyup 're depreciation,,cfmoto bikes are cheap to start with .

Well said !
At least it doesn't have one of those horrible registration plate brackets hanging off the swinging arm.
How do you know this ? you own one ? , if not keep your negativity to yourself !
