I appreciate it but it would take me days to figure out a parts list most of the stuff is in the video new supercharged motor and 25 foot outlaw coming soon
Hey Joe. Doing similar swap but starting with a marine power jetpac. I need to add powersteering back to the accessories. What did you use for the accessory drive?
Yeah she ran great, 2 footers what max to feel comfortable cranking on her. The wakes I hit in that vid where from a big sea ray type boat and at 65 mph I used my judgement and slowed down, lol. Check out my new video with my new suoercharger motor!
@@6.0joelsx60 I had to buy the shorter Holley aluminum oil pan for the 2011 GMC totalled pickup truck LC9 5.3L V8 aluminum engine i am installing in my 22 foot fish ski boat.
I don't that why I made the video because I feel like I would forget half the parts lol but if you have any question just ask away... that boat is sold and have a new 25ft Baja I'm building with a 408 and lsa blower
@@roadwarrior4615 considering I bought the boat for $1500 with no motor or drive I would say yes it went faster... I think that boat goes 62 mph with a 454 big block check out my other videos I sold that boat but too the motor out and supercharged it and put it in a new boat!!
Looks like you have figured it out. Great Job
Oh yeah! I did 3 boats so far each one improves
Wow. LS on 🌊 water. Impressed!
I’m currently doing a LT4 swap from marine engine deport in plaquimine Louisiana I can not wait
Parts list please !!! Really nice set up. Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍💪💪💪

im about to ls swap my boat i just nee to know more about the cooling system and how the exhaust set up is

Badass boat. Good job.
hey Joe, do you remember what you did for flywheel? running into issues with that right now.
@@DerekIwasiuk I used an LS7 flywheel that I had laying around and it worked well
Thanks for the info. Awesome job
That sounds simply fuggin fantastic!! She doesn't like rough water does she? That's fuggin savage though and I bet the video doesn't do it justice.

Badass bro!
What temperature is your engine running at with that Hardin marine thermostat?
No issues with the wideband?
The engine runs at 120 and oil at 180 . The wideband goes bad every month or so but I just use it for tuning and then I don't need it anymore
Man, that's sweet !
Just out of curiosity, what brand and grade of Engine oil do you use in it?
I used 10w40 mobile one diesel oil
I'm curious as to why you need the Hardin thermostat housing? Doesnt the thermostat for the truck go in the water pump?
Because the Tstat is where the fresh water comes in at the "lower hose" you need water going into to block first
@@6.0joelsx60 oh. That makes sense. Thank you.
You're just using a stock water pump? They're trying to sell me a marine specific pump...
Also, what did you use for mounts?
Stock truck water pump, I used Hardin marine mounts
Are LS engine boats worth it / reliable over regular motors?
Hell yeah big block power lighter and more rpm!
Any recommendations on a cam if you were to build it again? Hardin marines cams are back ordered
Damn that sucks check out iroc-x on TH-cam he put a truck cam in idk what one
What cam are you using and what are you setting your rev limiter too
Hardin marine cam rev limiter was set at 5500 but the motor would only rev to 5000
Check out my new video
who would give it a thumbs down sheesh. LQ9 stock other than the cam? what did you do for oil pan?
Stock truck oil pan
@@6.0joelsx60 ah cool. hopefully wont suck all the oil up.

What throttle set up? I’m assuming it’s no longer fly by wire
It is all drive by cable are used the stock, boat throttle cable and I rigged it to a stock truck throttle cable
Hello. which exhaust manifold? what brand of exhaust manifold?
exhaust manifold fits well?
Marine power, Hardin marine and imco marine all fit the same and extremely well and the risers line right up to the factory thru hull
Joe, where did you find the Marine Power manifold by itself? I can only seem to find the full manifold and riser kit
I’m trying to figure out how the wideband is able to get a reading. Doesn’t water go through those risers???
It's a dry riser but some water comes back in due to reversion the wide band sensor only lasts for a few weeks it's only for tuning
This is awesome. I would love to throw an ls3 in my Baja. What bellhousing and flywheel did you use? Is the tuning done with Holley?
Stock ecm for tuning ls7 flywheel stock bravo 1 engine couple and bell housing
@@6.0joelsx60 what software are you using for tuning? HP tuners?

Bravo one 1.50
