    My Miniware TS101 cost me $78 delivered...also in Oz. it does everything your iron does and yep, I've got a $7 Makita battery adapter on the way.
    That soldering station looks like it's a 3D print, hardly the top quality you spoke of. So no injection molding happening at JMM I'll wager. Those tips look familiar too btw. I'll stick to my Miniware iron but shout out to an Aussie company mixing it with the big guys.

    So it has been a few months, how’s that Makita soldering iron? Does it really get that hot = 400c? Does it lose a lot of heat/temp when soldering?

      It’s brilliant. I’ve tried at least 6-7 different gas and lithium powered portable Irons and this blows them all away. Gets up to temp so fast and stays there no worries, has a no use sleep to save battery but a sensitive bump awake And the best part is I’ve always got a Tool battery charged and ready to go somewhere.
