OK, so that was really cool! However, I was really skeptical throughout the build that it wasn't going to be rigid enough. So glad to be wrong. I like the design. Well done.
I understand your doubts, especially for the upper part of this jig. Nevertheless the alignment guides on both sides doing a great job with holding the complete upper part in place and the 10mm steel rods are definitely strong enough. However, the jig is not yet perfect. There are a few things which I have listed as todos on my github page. The PCB alignment stuff has to be reworked and the stencil springs are not strong enough (you can see it in the second example, the stencil is still bending…). Thank you for your feedback! 👌🏻
That looks awesome! I wonder if the process of alignment of the stencil can be done quicker. Maybe like a beefy spring clamp of something in one of the sides? or strong magnets? Even so, I'd pay a pretty penny for this kit, as is.
Very nice tool, thank you for sharing it!. Do you have plans of uploading the CAD files in Github?. As an open-source project it would be easier to follow the instructions (and to improve it). For instance, what is the size of the springs?
I thought it as well but luckily it isn’t! Replacing the stencil can be done in under two minutes. Though the PCB-Stencil alignment will take a few minutes 😁 But still worth it
Really cool project! How does the red aliggnment knob on the end that aligns the stencil clamp not just back itself out when turned anti-clockwise? I thought it would need a retainer, maybe a U shaped 3D printed part that bolt on afterwards and stops it moving back out
Hi! Awesome project! Which type of material did you use for prints? Do you have any hints about slicing? How much filling and how many walls did you set? Thank you in advance!
PCB manufacturing houses (cheap hobby ones include JLCPCB, PCBway, etc) cut them based on the PCB files you provide, it's largely an automated process once you've already designed the PCB I think
I built something almost like that, but in my case it's a support that holds big boards during maintenance.
That's my biggest helper in the shop.

This is really well made, looks like the steel plate and the aluminum bars would be the hardest parts to kit, everything is cake
That looks awesome!

It doesn`t need to be done quicker .

I don't even do electronics and want one after that awesome vid
Can you make a kickstarter and produce some of these Jig? I’d love to get one.
when i saw this in another video I was honestly wondering if that was built or bought lol, very nice
Hope life blesses you so much bro ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you my friend!
Learning a lot with you!! Thanks very much!
8:19 who is schichi?
I like it a lot...but it's a ton of work to replace masking tape. Wow!

nice work I would buy this as a kit can you provide??
Awesome! I'll try to repeat. I think the next step should be to build an automatic SMT machine😁
Good work !
Very nice, I would buy this as a kit!
Great product!
looks great!
what max size stencil can this handle?
good morning, what was the material used in your workbench, is this a blanket? and stone, granite? Thank you very much in advance!

Is there a good single source for all of the metal hardware you've listed on the github page?
Please let's see your take on the PnP machine 🥺
Setting it up takes soooo long 😁 I definitely will do it someday 🙈

Not OP but I'd recommend either PLA or PETG printed at 0.25 or 0.2 with 3 walls and 20% infill. Should be totally fine for this application.
@@mr_roo thank you!
how do you get these stencils?
you should sell this as a kit..I would purchase..
brilliant
Thanks man!
This design requires a lot of changes to make it more stable.
awesome!
How to create the stencil?

genius
You could sell that
Wuuuhuuuiuuuuu epic stuff man. Like it keep on firefucking
Thanks my firefucker 🔥
Please make otto diy robot in next videi
I had a few questions, can I talk to you by email?
