Yeah a man by the name of Henry burkhart had a drott 80 that had revelers on it in Knoxville tn. He was good with it, after running cats mostly it was awkward say digging a fairly deep ditch on a slope ,sometimes you had to spin around and dig yourself level, all excavators should have revelers on them
I like that technology and I can see where it would be a specialized machine in some areas. I suspect it's a little more fragile though too huh? Nice machine though.

Great idea but not for practical use in mud, dirt, rocks etc...I can see those cylinders getting dinged by rocks, materials, caked up with gunk, seals failing etc. It's cool but not for use in the normal excavator playground.
Ein Streitberger ist OK für Spezielle arbeiten und man hat schon weiß nicht wie viele Knöpfe und ich als Baggerfahrer normal hab schon features und das sind schon viele Knöpfe. Wie viel Knöpfe muss ich denn jetzt gleichzeitig bedienen so viele Hände finger zehen hab ich gar nicht. Und dann hat man so eine Technik als Baumaschinen und dann fällt ihnen ein Sensor aus also ich bin für die altbewährte normale bagger Technik
Schreitbagger oder Spezialbagger gibt es ja auch nur weil du mit den altbewährten "normalen" Baggern alles machen kannst. Nur weil eine Maschine für dich zu kompliziert ist muss sie ja nicht gleich schlecht sein ;)
A French company named Drott had levelers on some of their excavators back in the 70’s and 80’s. Case took them over and offered the levelers for a while. My father had a Drott 50 and a Case 1280 equipped with them. Once you were used to having them it was frustrating whenever using an excavator without. The way this is set up I think it would help a lot in tight spots and on slopes. Nice!

Initial look, cool, upon secondary thoughts, just more stuff to grease and break, service costs just went up Exponentially.
Love this idea 17 years in the machine and first time I seen this track system I can see it being very useful
