I've had this machine for 2 years now and it's still going strong. And that's making 50 cigs a day or so. I just ordered the powermatic 3+ which is quite a bit more expensive at 275 dollars, but you can load 30 cigs worth of tobacco in the machine at once, you put the filter on and just hit start over and over. It is adjustable for density and keeps count of how many you made. Also makes kings or 100's. I didn't get it yet, but I'm excited to use it. I love this machine. I always used my fingers to push the tobacco down. If you want a great machine for a really good price, I'd go with this one over the 3+. Or if your lazy like me and don't want to push the tobacco down, spend the extra money. These machines pay for themselves quickly.

Thanks for the great review and demonstration. I just bought one and this gave me a good idea about how the machine works.
Don't worry about the amount of talking, seemed just fine to me! If for anything not rushing the video made it more natural and helped with the credibility of the review.

My machine recently broke at the piece that goes in and out. I could not take that particular part of the unit out to replace or glue/epoxy so now I need a new one. It still seems like the most ideal buy and for as long as it lasted has been well worth the investment. Thank you to all commenters both criticism for improvements and compliments alike. Be safe and week everyone!!!

I have one too, it's a great machine. I glued my hamper to the unit, couldn't stand it loose and coming apart. I dry my pipe tobacco and then take out the twigs. I use my fingers to pack it a little firmer on the ends, since that is normally where it doesn't pack them tight enough. You can feel when it's packed right and the machines sound will be just right. If u pack it to tight it wont push it all the way through, so i take off the tubee and then push the leaver down to extract the rest of the tobacco, then i try again. Once rolled I pinch the tops then pack them on a solid surface, especially if i'm going to take them somewhere. The money saved is tremendous.

Yeah best machine ever I have mines for 4 years now and it still looks and works great even the box that came with it stills looks in good condition,I smoke a pack every two days so that’s a pack every two days and now instead of spending $2000-$2200 a year I on spend around $500-$550 a year on tubes and tabaco and taste better than commercial cigs and there more softer to smoke and even taste better because it’s fresh made cigarette with fresh tabacco.
Love your video and like it too.

Maybe I'm a weirdo but I actually like my cigarettes being packed a lot tighter! I've smoked friends rollies and they always burn way too fast and have too much airflow, but when I pack mine pretty good, it's draw is just a bit easier than an American Spirit. I guess it's personal preference but I'm surprised so many people like looser cigarettes.

Are the bottoms of the tubes empty like other rollers? And does it accept 100mm?

From what i am understanding after reading numerous reviews this Machine itself is great BUT making great cigarettes is completely dependent on the Tobacco's cut/moisture level?
If the tobacco is fine or too moist it wont roll right?

Technology will be our Demise if you look up RANDALLOLOGY, he has a detailed vid on a different model called the poweroll II . He shows what happens when it's packed to tight and how to clear it.

Thanks for the instruction. I just bought the Powermatic 2, but it didn't come with the blue tobacco tamper you used. I can't seem to find one online. Is that something you purchased separately? If so, where?

You can get it at smoke shops. Or buy one of the very cheap top (or other brand) hand rollers they come with one. And it's nice to have a back up cheap roller just in case. They kinda suck though.

    • @MistyG

I took mine apart because it broke but mine was unfixable. I found another video that showed how to disassemble and reassemble on TH-cam. Try searching for repairing powermatic 2 I think that's how I found it.

This machine is pure garbage. Impossible to roll 5 cigarettes in a row and 90% of your cigarettes are not fully loaded. if you barely pack the chamber the piece of shit jambs up. Don't waste your money
