    this is a great cord cutter. we're saving 40 - 50 bucks per carton per week.

    The number 1 failure mode for off shore electronics is a weak power supply. Solder two straight pins to a clip and monitor both the voltage and current flow when the machine cycles. If the voltage drops below the specification on the power supply then the amperage rises which is very bad for the motor because excess amperage relates to excess heat. It's acceptable to find a power supply with a slightly higher amperage output but the voltage output should be close to the specification. Ideally you want to see a relative steady voltage and amperage when the motor is cycling and when it's off.

    Your blocking the cooling vents on the bottom of the machine which will lead to over heating and premature failure.

    You could probably just sell the diagram for making this deck for the cigarette machine and let people make their own. 10 bucks a print...
