Is this a recital performance with piano accompaniment of the entire scene? I can't quite figure out why else you would have a Euridice in your lap when performing this in recital style. The recital where I remember this song didn't bother with Euridice.
Magnifique !
Best version I have heard since Kathleen Ferrier. Thank you.
1. Such a wonderful timbre for this role.
2. Way to use your full breath while sitting! I can't yet do that!
3. Euridice looked very dead...wow
What a voice!! She reminds me Kathleens Ferrier voice.
Dandy is more dramatic in her style of singing; Ferrier was more spiritual. Two very different artists.
I came here bcs someone wrote that J.D. comes close to K.F. in another post.
Amazing singing, interpretation & voice quality. Doesn't happen often to hear such a mezzo voice.
Contralto not mezzo.
Outstanding emotion!
Very well done! Bravaa 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️💯( I just don’t want to be this Eurydice… I would straight to hospital afterwords 😂😂😂)
Sublime.
Jess’s voice is phenomenal. I’d love to hear her sing “Mon coeur s’ouvre à ta voix”; she would be a brilliant Dalila.

Miscast aria. This is better performed by a tenor or baritone.
