I know you probably get tired of hearing this, but...so nice to hear an ACTUAL contralto, rather than all the mezzos and dramatic sopranos pushing their voices down. Your voice is clear, relaxed and natural, with a real chest voice. Reminds me a bit of Maureen Forrester.

Is this a recital performance with piano accompaniment of the entire scene? I can't quite figure out why else you would have a Euridice in your lap when performing this in recital style. The recital where I remember this song didn't bother with Euridice.

I came to know Jess' voice through a Mahler song and "Cara sposa" is, in many ways, more difficult: there are no thick harmonies to hide (or distract from) poor singing, and it's hard to "sell" a fairly routine oh-poor-me text for 9 mins. But she does it! ♥

A voice that is really of very high quality, much that is lost in todays Mosquito's, good luck to the young lady, my grandfather sang in the Chorus of Covent Garden as a leading Tenor from 1909 till 1940, he performed with Schumann Heink, Ober, Leisner, Kirkby Lunn, Homer, not forgetting Clara Butt and Liela Megane and Dozens of others, I am sure he would have loved to have sung with this Lady, Beautiful voice and phrasing, , what is she doing now?
