I have the Aramith Black and Pro Cup Tournament sets of balls, I only play the Black though. I ended up trading a cue case for a set of these Platinums, and I got to say I like them better. Now my observation is that they do seem to travel farther than the Aramith balls, and they have a different sound when hitting against each other. Like they seem faster, where I notice I have to change my force and follow through because the ball is going to keep rolling
Nice review, I've always held Aramith balls to a higher standard, so interesting to see that these are at an equivalent level! When is the comparison vid of carbon fiber shafts coming btw?

I'd say that their rack has an increased chance of redirecting slow-rolling balls. However, the rack should always be removed after the break, so it should not be a problem.
It does have a chance of moving slow balls but we tend to leave it on the table and just slide it out of the way of foreseeable shots. It is an excellent template and the balls really are first class.
I'd check out www.pericues.com - they have some nice cues under $300 or www.jflowerscues.com where you can choose between a wooden or carbon fiber shaft at $300.

I like the colors, but it takes some getting used to. Yea, they play great!
I can't stand how the template racks affects the roll of the balls when it goes over it. I do like the new colors; they are refreshing.
I hear you, however, this is mainly on the break and it can go both ways? Sometimes it help?
All sets of dynaspheres billiard are 6 & 14 ball in grey instead of green.
Any idea how to get a rotor cue ball without buying the whole platinum set?. I have a tungsten ball set 80$ (plays same as the set reviewed here)

@@CueListings ofc, when I can I do but straight off the break it can mess up a lot before I sometimes get a chance to remove it ;)

Dynashperes aren't made in Belgium (but in China), only the company selling them is set up in Belgium to confuse buyers... Aramith is how I roll...
