Brilliant. Looks perfect and sounds on the button. Had one in 79 and put a good 40k on it. Then got a Z650. I jumped on a mate's old Superdream about 15 years ago and was horrified how bad the brakes were. LOL. How did we survive?
I had a superdog in the early 90s and even the twin discs weren't that good. It was only long after the end of my ownership that I discovered in a chance conversation that one can achieve a miraculous improvement to the back brake by .... drumroll ... fitting the brake lever arm off a cx which is an inch longer. INFORMATION THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR MORE USEFUL TWENTY ***** YEARS EARLIER!!!
@@tombartram7384 Great biker story. I remember the long debates about mixing Metzelers and Avon Roadrunners to get the right balance. And the girlfriends sipping Babycham and looking utterly bored. But then the band would come on and we'd all dive up. Wow. Those were the days.

Blimey,,, Suzi GT 125 Puch Grand Prix S (I wrote off the Suzi) Yam RD 200. CB 250 Superdream X 2 Z 650 Kawasaki Honda VT 500 Ascot. Kawasaki GT 550 Honda CX 500 Custom Kawasaki GT 750 They were working bikes for the job. Then I had a few fun bikes. Kawasaki Zephyr 750 Suzuki Bandit 1200 (LOL mad bike. Great fun) Then briefly had a Yam MT o3. Not ridden for about 8 years though. Don't trust my reactions now. Though I keep looking at Honda Rebel 500s. Just to pootle about on. Happy new year mate. I think we had the best years. No speed cameras. Park anywhere. And most coppers just laughed as you whizzed by.
