I have been to many Maiden shows and there is nothing like it. It feels like a family reunion. We took our son to his second live show last month just to make sure he good Maiden memories. My husband is an avid collector and mentioned by name in a book. Up the irons!

I've been listening to iron maiden since the early 80's, first album I heard was piece of mind, I have been a huge maiden fan ever since and finally got to see them live on the book of souls world tour in the Tacoma dome and it was the greatest concert I've ever been to, I finally got to see them in my life and will never forget how I felt being there and how good they sounded live and the stage set up was just brilliant and pure magic. I think Bruce Dickinson is truly an Entertainer. He's not a singer for Rock Band, he's the front man for the best live music Act ever. I don't remember performers very much, but I do remember performances. Bruce Dickinson always gives you a performance.

I've been at this concert. Well, on one of these from that tour. This was in Dortmund and I was at the one in Debrecen. Yep. they came to my home town on that tour. One of the best nights of my life. Still remember it as it was yesterday, although it was 16 years ago now. Time flies.
Not only a pilot he has a business based in Wales which services aircraft and trains pilots. He has also invested in a heavy lift airship project which will allow large scale air freight. Dickinson is reportedly worth £300 million.

Dickinson used to be a fencer who at one time was on the British Olympic team. Maybe that's where his fluent moves come from.
JimmyRJump he was not in the Olympic team. He was with the British national team.

This is my favorite song with them. But I think in terms of theatrical performance, my favorite is Paschendale. Powerslave in Costarica is perhaps the best example of playing it together with the audience.

Its not if he studied theater or not. Its the fact of they came out of WW2 era in England. They were their children. What it must have been like. The times were overwelmingly different. Its in their DNA.....
He's also an Olympics level fencer.
Almost, never actually made it to the Olympics. Was like top 10 in the Uk from what I remember.

A story I will never forget from Maidens ex producer Martin Birch .."Believe it or not,but it´s true"..he was driving,many yrs ago "And a car HIT me..he was a Priest,picking some nunns up..it was his fault..to make this story short,as he sais in the interwiev...When Martin went to get his car,being repaired...the bill was 666 pounds EXACLY... Martin said "You change that to 668 pounds,or whaterver,I´m NOT paying that"...Because the Album that did /made Iron Maiden World Famous, "the breakthrough" ,was /is ....."666,The Number Of The Beast" :-)

Never trained as an theater actor ( no time) between singing and learning to be a pilot (not easy) and also training for fencing (He almost made the GB team) bassically not enough hours in the day ,just a natural actor.
but in school he did theatre and liked it.

Loved your reaction for this amazing song and when they played this it was a very new song from 2003. Iron maiden is one of those bags that has 100+ fan favorite songs so it’s hard to pick one to recommend but if I can pick one I would recommend you check out Passiondale. I probably spelled that wrong but it’s a song about a battle in World War I the last several months and almost 1,000,000 people died there it’s a very strong and powerful song And as one of my favorites from Iron Maiden. They have 100 + awesome songs but that’s the one I recommend thanks and I enjoyed your video :-)
