I played yogg and got 3 golden buddies, almost won due to huge stats, but I couldn’t add any anti scam since my entire turn was taken up by the animations.

I always feel bad for the guy in chat saying super dumb stuff, like “dragons are bad, I would have forced mechs” when it’s like turn 6 or 7.

This is his career, he even has to be mindful of putting clips in youtube videos because pf the spotlight effect.
There are 3 kinds of players. Some players want to play flashy things regardless of their win rate. Some players want to do something fun regardless of win rate. Some players want to win even if they have to do the most boring and unimpressive things over and over again. The guy in chat is the first type, it seems.

Man Shady got me playing battlegrounds again, but then I go into a game and at turn 14 my board looks like his at turn 4 and I wonder just how bad it went wrong.

eh, he did miss the devour spell 3/4 through the game which would have gotten him out of dragons, but the point isn't playing 100% perfectly it's about playing 95% perfectly and not second guessing yourself when the timer is ticking down
@@pjacefilmsIn all fairness, the dragons were scaling passively per Battlecry, and it is often better to try discover spells you want with Panda and golden Brann than pay 4 gold for it
Can someone explain to me how braggart works because i did the same thing as shady but it didnt got bigger as the biggest minion i had, when I played it the battlecry only triggered once and with additional triggers it didn't got any bigger, I didn't had a brann, but if it's tavern 4 and Shady says you can make it gold on the board how do you have to trigger it so that it gets bigger, because it only triggered once for me
Regular Braggart only sets itself to your highest stated minion. Golden sets to your highest stated minion and then doubles it. So you need a golden Braggart and then trigger it's battlecry to double it's stats

You can't get it normally, so they probably made it tier 4 so that you deal less damage to opponents and give them more time to find scam to beat the braggart. At least, that's just what I think.
@@newtonthenewt1400All the Darkmoon Prizes were given tiers 1-4. Since Braggart is a turn 16 prize, it is now a Tier 4 like Raise the Stakes and Open Bar

16:20 was a chance to eat the dragon. This + Eyes of the Earth Mother (which was seen at 13:36) was a ticket to golden your Wraith and just switch to full elementals which scales more efficiently. That was what I thought of immediately with that Eyes choice, and it could have allowed you to switch to a faster scaling composition without losing any stats.
(Ik in the end it does not matter, but when elementals are in, discovering Eyes is the nuts if you are trying to run a wraith in your build)
tbh he probably didnt see it ? wouldnt blame him lol this game was looked pretty messy and exhausting to play
found a glitch with shadowsong if you have a card on board or in hand and use buddy and then use ability in the same minion but in tavern you don’t have to wait for cool down and get a free gold pair up with murk-eye is overpowered
27:00 Even with the explanation, I dont get it. It says "set", not "gain stats equal to", so I don't how it grows like that. haha (edit: time stamp)
The gold version is double the max stats, itself was on the battlefield when he triggered the battle cry with the tavern spell. multiplying it's own stats 3 times double because of the bran.
@@bion247 yeah but that's not what the word "set" means, in the example shaddy used of having a 500/500 on board and a golden bran, it should set its own stats to 500/500 three times the first time you play it, leaving it still at 500/500 and then when you golden it, even if it counts the non golden version it would be double 500/500, so the most I could see it doing would be 1st battle cry trigger 1k/1k, 2nd trigger 2k/2k, third trigger 4k/4k. And that's assuming it is doubling it's own stats each time with bran triggers.

Yogg Sarin buddy seems so out of balance compared to everything else. It gives so much insane value and opportunities that no other hero could ever pull off.
The sad thing is compared to Sylvanus, this isn't even the most absurd thing you can do. Sylvanus in an Undead lobby can double stats over and over again since her Buddy is undead and can be replayed with Disguised Graverobber. You can quite easily stay on low tiers and double your stats over and over again

The last time i played yogg i got darkmoon prizes. Every. Single. Time. Was still ok but jesus christ theres some better spins

250k. You can read the attack value clearly. Highest value attack was 518 on Kalecgos. With golden Brann there was 9 triggers, so 518 * 2^9 = 265 216 attack.
What's an extra 225000 stats anyways
