I love how he not only does not hide from criticism but USES it to make people laugh out loud and thus make him self look MORE awesome than ever~ It is also so easy for him to show how much more intelligent and conscious he is than those who bash him~*~
I love when comedians dissect the english language. This was the first standup I have ever seen of Brand's and I have to say I'm rather impressed by how witty he is.
Exactly~ 442 thumbs up so far shows consensus. He is so intelligent in fact that he is able to come up with FUNNY ways to use his VERY sophisticated vocabulary to make the COMMON person laugh. Bravo indeed~*~
He's FUCKING hilarious. It shows how intelligent he is, regardless of the topic of his comedy, he speaks well, and uses a vocabulary that 90% of the common idiots would never comprehend. Bravo Mr. Brand.
i'm a little sad to admit that I had to watch three times to get the plumb voiced fox joke. After that I laughed too hard, LoL! I gotta improve my vocabulary, thanks Russell!!
@Ladygagasg24 denouement: it's from the french. I means the climax or final part of a play, narrative, etc where all parts of the plot are drawn together and everything is explained. So in a detective story, when the detective brings everybody to one room and reveals who the murderer was, that's the denouement. Russell is using it mockingly to say that "from its conception to its denouement" i.e. "from start to finish" the newspaper article is nonsense.
@HockeyG33 Pedantic, but correct. The dictionary widget I use lists "the climax of a chain of events, usually when something is decided or made clear" as one definition of denouement, but I haven't seen that repeated in better sources. So it appears you’re right. But minus “climax,” my description about plot lines being sorted out in the final part of a narrative is accurate, and my comment about how Russell used it, which is the whole point of the question, is true enough.
That's not the point. The point is that Bob Geldof's band, The Boomtown Rats, had one successful single in the 70's, and Bob has been "dining out" on it ever since.
No, I think Russell said that first, this did come out about 4 years ago so maybe the irish comedian copied it. It might just be a coinsidence, it does happen.
he isn't saying Peter file he's actually saying Pedophile he's just british and that's how they say it in his dialect. Like earlier he said Beta "Beeta" They pronounce words differently....
''this artical right is a complete fabucation total lies from it insection to it______'' what is that word n what does it mean cos its reli confusing me lol I LOVE RUSSELL BRAND! he is amazing and i love is hair :D:D some one plz write back to my question plzz xx

STOP BLOODY MOANING PEOPLE HES GREAT!!! xx
@kubaniski hell, polish can't be asylum seekers as they belong to the european union and therefore they are allowed to stay in any country in EU they wish. back to the show, its hilarious.
A bit of a big deal is being made about that. I mean, at the end of the day, it's a joke. Nothing more than a joke, they're made every day, someone might not like it, that's their problem. Like you said, why listen? I can't believe Russell might be getting a fine of thousands of pounds over it. I'm sure at some point we've all been the subject of a joke that may have made us feel upset, it doesn't mean whoever made the joke has to pay us money for it. It was a bloody joke!
I love how he not only does not hide from criticism but USES it to make people laugh out loud and thus make him self look MORE awesome than ever~

Did he say "London Opium Club"? Is opium legal in the BK?
Where is this?
@Ladygagasg24 He means "dénouement". It describes the conclusion of a story.
pt4 doesnt flow into pt5.
If you stare at his hair long enough it looks like two hairdos on one head.
what does he say at the very end of the vid and what does it mean? haha
"I could be a bit racist I suppose, on the weekend."
