Here’s the thing calling someone “over hyped” usually is appropriate if a team doesn’t meet the expectations on the field. This team hasn’t played a game.
Could be but I hope not. Please don’t repeat History!
I feel like we just have to wait and see. All the ingredients are there, last season expectations were high but Flus fielded a team completely unprepared to play until mid season.

If Fields, Getsy, and a lack of weapons was the problem last year, then they'll improve. If they weren't, then they won't. Pretty simple. We'll see when they play.
💯
100% over rated. No oline no Dline, rookie QB, multiple "weapons" never took a snap in Chicago or with a freshman QB.
Went 7 and 10 with a bad qb last year. Most are saying 9-8 ,10-7....They're oline is better then you think and their defense was a top 5 defense after getting Sweat. They added to the roster big time and you think ecpecting 2 to 3 more is over rated. Na,I'd say that's about right ...but 2025 ,after one more free agency period and one more draft then we will be a force, assuming Williams is half of what they say he can be !
@@jeffgieske6683 easiest schedule in the league last year, played a ton of rookie/back up QB's, the Oline is average at best, bad at worse. The defense was "good" against bad teams and gave up 400+ yards to good teams AND you have a rookie QB. I'm also skeptical of the bears going from the worst passing team in the league to one of the best.
The o-line was 5th in the NFL in pass block win rate last year. They fixed the o-line when they traded Justin Fields. And DJ Moore and Keenan Allen aren't "weapons", they're unquestionably top notch weapons. Don't be a clown.
@jessefay4984 The o-line was better than average in every metric. They only looked like a bad unit because of the bust QB playing there. And they held Detroit to under 600 l yards and forced 7 turnovers in two games combined against the Lions last. year
@@jessefay4984Oh, and don't pretend the QB position wasn't massively upgraded which is what will turn around the passing offense.
