Never been more excited as a Bears fan to watch our offense lol Cutler, Forte and Marshall and Jeffrey is the closest I can think of in recent memory but I think our current offense will be better.
The NFL has done everything possible to ease their new diva into a position where they feel he can't possibly fail. The way the Bears organization and the league has catered for Caleb to succeed if he he fails to win consistently and doesn't win at least one Superbowl on his rookie contract it could be the biggest disaster in Chicago Sports history. In saying that this could also be one of greatest offenses in NFL history if everyone is on the same page from the lineman to the RBs to the WRs.
@@byronscherer4986 Hey I still hope Ryan doesn't regret trading JF. If this doesn't turn out right King Poles will be stripped of his crown and booted out of town! BEARDOWN!
Why does everyone love Fields so much? Serious question. I was checked out for a several years when he was drafted and my young aon dragged me back in because of fields. Nothing he did on the field impressed me, except dor a few runs. Otherwise he always looked to lack confidence and panicked in the pocket.
@@dannyevilcat I mean was it his work ethic? Things he's said? His personality? All I saw was constant rbf. I don't get why some of the people that loved him don't like who they heard Caleb is.
@@pttthhh I really don't get it either, man. I think it was because he could pull an occasional highlight play out of his ass, which teased his potential to a QB starved franchise and it's meatball fans who thought he could still pull it all together and do it consistantly. I saw what you saw, a flawed QB with significant issues that he hadn't improved on in 3 seasons. Not everything was his fault, but he wasn't part of the solution either. Edit: Also, I speak like I'm not also a meatball Bears fan who 100% believes we'll win Super Bowls with Caleb.
@@dannyevilcat ha. I get it, I guess. I'm usually an optimist that has held out hope on a prospect forever, but didn't see it with him. Also in full meatball mode, but I truly believe everything looks different. Because it is.. I think.
The thing about Fields and his fans is they simply wanted to see him with a actual good roster. Nothing wrong with that at all, we just have to root for Caleb and hope he was worth trading Justin WHILE not being able to draft MHJ and another guy at 9 like an Edge or OL guy
They still talk about Luck and he’s been gone sometime. Generational and didn’t win anything. It takes talent around the QB. I know you guys don’t believe it but talent actually matters. Moreover, Justin had minimal talent around him like it or not.
I agree with you for sure that it takes both the QE being good and the team being good. However, the counterpoint is easily look at the Chiefs look at my homes. He notoriously doesn't have great weapons besides Kelce, It doesn't even really matter for them even this last year Kelce had it down here. The rest of his receiver is are pretty bad but they still win a super bowl
I am tired of hearing that Justin didn’t have as good a roster around him to be as good as Caleb. Justin isn’t even close to being as good as Caleb. You could put an all pro offensive roster around Justin and he still would not have been very good. He simply could not read the field, couldn’t find secondary open receivers and held on the ball too long among other things. Good guy , but we were not going anywhere with him.
Can't compare both ever! In College big time proves one thing the best players made Justin. When they get to pros you see it and Justin never progressed. Good QBs can always make bad players better Justin couldn't. At USC Caleb played behind a bad line third tier WRs. 142nd Defense. No more to be said. Throws w anticipation Wow! Caleb eats pressure Justin chokes on it. Go Bears! Go Caleb!
More Brett Kollman, please! This was so insightful.

Bears fans are not bright, and we've set a low bar.

I like to see 16 wins this season in Chicago Let’s go Caleb
Interesting take on the Penix pick. 👍
Great podcast!
Why does he still constantly bring up Fields
He told you why 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
15:02 this is what Justin was saying when he brought up coaching and being over coached

I really enjoyed his insight thanks
Why are you keep bringing up Justin fields this year is the Caleb Williams era now.

Is Ken purposely butchering Rome’s name?
He’s aggravating

Agreed
Not true re: Andrew Luck. The Colts wanted RGIII but he refused to interview or visit. Look it up
Why are we still talking about Fields? He’s no longer news.
Its simple, teach him the system and let him cook.
I'll say it again: what did Luck ever win?

Imagine talking about the bears for a living and not knowing how to pronounce their players names.
Woot. First comment
Look guys until them pads come on please relax. About this kid .... they drop the ball yet again .....
6:26 Hypocrisy. JF1 was experiencing and trying the same thing. 🐻⬇️
JF is garbage at QB.
Nobody cares about Justin. Hes gone. Stop talkin about him
Celeb Williams out for the season
A pox on the Packers and a curse on Jordan Love.
Looks like shit right out the gates!!!! While nix looks great right out the gates baby
