I just flushed mine and one block later after I re assembled it the tank puked it’s guts out so I’m waiting for Rock auto to deliver my replacement . Great video . Cheers

Just subscribed. Enjoyed watching your f250 series. I do a lot of work on obs aero-nose and brick-nose fords, mostly f150s, and mostly like working with and using base model (xl) with straight shift 5-speeds and the 300 six cylinders. They make for reliable farm trucks around here, and most of us old-timers like the simplicity of them as an EFI truck. Down here in Ky they don't rust away as fast, but I'm originally from northeast Ohio, so I can relate to the rust belt. And I swear by fluid film, even down here. And love the old model A ford stuff. Great channel... thanks.
Thank you! I love Ford trucks. I've started with an '82 F100, then OBS '97 F250 HD, then '77 F250 Camper Special, and last the '95 F250. I've had the 300, two 351s and a 460. '73-79 are my favorite followed close by '80-'86. OBS are nice for a more modern feel. Hopefully Fluid Film will keep my '95 on the road for a few years!

Make a video on freeze plug replacement.
I don't need to change them. Just knock out the plug with a chisel and tap the new one in with a socket that's slightly smaller than the freeze plug. It's easy.
When it was leaking was it spraying coolant everywhere and making the belts squeeze and whine ?
No, but that can easily happen with a bad radiator. The coolant system is under pressure.
So you don’t have to worry about plugging those two ports for the transmission cooler? I have a standard transmission as well. Great video though very helpful I had to buy a rubber cap and clamp for that other port near the radiator cap
You could just to keep dirt out. I'll never use this in an automatic truck so I wasn't worried about it.
Appreciate the quick response. I’ll be installing today. Mine came with plastic plugs so I guess I can keep them in place.
If u do have an automatic will transmission lines leak oil ?
You need to hook the lines up to the radiator just like how you took it apart.
Great video man! I got a 351w manual trans f250 with no AC. Can I replace with a new radiator that has AC?
Gonna order the rad with AC, the dimensions on the website for it are the same as my current broken radiator.
Radiator has nothing to do with AC. AC is a stand alone system with a compressor, condenser, evaporator, and dash controls.
@@QuickSpeedShop that’s what I thought too. Rockauto is giving me the option though. That’s why I just went with the dimensions.
I am about to do this. Mine is a 5 speed manual, what do I do about the 2 ports for the A/T?
Don't need to do anything, they aren't used.

No, the trans cooler is a separate tube that is in the coolant passage, but not connected to the coolant.

Is that a 2 core or a 3 core radiator on that truck ?
3 core
Same radiator for a 7.3??
No, the 7.3 radiator is much larger. The core support is even different on the diesel trucks.
The first time I watched your video I missed where you said that it was a 2 row core you sent me a comment saying that it is a 3 row core which is it 2 or 3 row I'm getting ready to do this on my 88 f250 all I can find at my local parts stores is 2 row core
If I said in the video it's 2 row then that's what it is. I always try to do 3 if I can, but I must have bought a 2 if that's what I said in the video. This was 3 years and 50,000 miles ago so I didn't remember. The truck has never got hot with the 2 row. It's a daily driver and I tow a trailer. No issues.

It's to heat the air in cold weather to prevent stumbling.

Basic metric socket set will cover just about any modern automotive repair.
