I think the 808 was from the wundagurl or F1lthy lunch77 kit, it’s like an old Travis Scott type 808. The kick is the Kick - Tec from the F1lthy x Luk kit but the kick doesn’t really matter since it’s mainly just to give the 808 a slight transient, I normally pitch the kick, play the same notes as the 808, and turn it down

I haven’t listen to much pantera but funnily enough I actually was inspired by By Demons Be Driven a little bit since I heard it sampled in a beat before, but Walk definitely sounds closer than what I was actually inspired by lol
My mix is really simple I put a soft-clipper on my master, cut out the lows from my melodies and drums, and then level my sounds. I didn’t do this for this beat but for my newer guitar Carti beats I double track my guitars and put either Bias FX 2 on them or a Neural DSP amp on them
@@proddryfrmda4 i think people tend to overcomplicate mixing/mastering. I don’t do anything “fancy” like compress, unless I have to like playing a live instrument and the volumes of the notes are drastically different. Taking out the lows of what needs it and leveling is like 99% of the mixing you need if you’re making beats imo
