I agree! I’m always zipping around, never slowing down. Especially in stores; in & out quick! Mary reminds me to slow down and enjoy all the things big or little. Take time; examine things and form opinions/thoughts.
Been watching your videos for quite some time and it struck me today while watching this one - the way you mention your sons, always so thoughtfully, referencing how someone loves or hates something - I can’t help but notice it shows how much time you must spend with them, that you listen to them and pay attention to them. I don’t mean to idealize the relationship, I’m sure you guys drive each other crazy plenty, but it’s still quite touching how they show up in your thoughts and your narration. And of course you never share anything personal. It’s such a contrast to how my mother was with me, and I appreciate it.

Great video, must have missed it when it first came out. It's hard to find one of your newer videos that's soft spoken, most all are whispered and for me they're not relaxing to listen to. Sorry.
