    I catch heat from many elder women in my family (who are all divorced or single) because of the way I honor my husband and the structure he has set up for our family. I used to fear marriage like this woman because of what bitter women perpetuated but once I learned what submission was REALLY about ( having a spiritual and physical covering that loves me and makes choices that benefits us both) I was happy to get married. We are going on 20 years now and the more I honor my husband’s role as the head, the more blessed the kids and I are, the more joy and peace we have, and the more he encourages and provides for me. My son who is in college has already rejected girls who are confrontational instead of cooperative. He broke up with his high school girlfriend and told me, “Mom, I can build a family with her. She can’t follow.”

    When KS said if marriage was nothing then why did the LGBT community fight so hard for it? That was deep! And the part about black women being in open rebellion I see that every time I deal with the females in my family. 99% of them are not married and are all heading for a life alone just like my older sisters.

    • @Maelstrom8
      @Maelstrom8 3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      It's true. I don't believe marriage is for everyone, but a lot of black women have forgotten why the institution was created. At its very core, partnering with a male was about survival first, legacy second. Can't have a legacy if you don't survive. Like he said, if you're homeless and someone bigger and stronger wants what you have... what do you do? You get robbed. These ladies need to wake up.

      Twonne1 what’s funny is, when a man is with a woman purely for her looks, he gets dragged for being immature, sex crazed, creepy if he’s significantly older. You name it. But women will prioritize looks all of the time. Or other things that don’t correlate to how a man would be as a husband and father (or in many cases, inversely correlated). WE'RE NOT FORCING ANY WOMAN TO DO ANYTHING THEY DON'T WANT TO DO. We get blamed enough for trying to have a family and provide structure to that family. The last thing we want is to force an unwilling woman into marriage and then force her to mother children. It doesn't work. If women want freedom, leave them be. I don't care what race she is. Find a woman who WANTS to be married and wants children and wants to raise them and wants to be a wife to you. There should be no need to train or break any woman. If she needs all that, leave her where you found her. She's NEVER worth the hassle! EVER! Regardless of race.
