Nice simple lower third. What is the color code for transparency if I want to change the gray color of the gray bar in line 6?
There is no color code for transparency... transparency means there is nothing there... You can make it transparent, unchecking its transparency box (it's the first on the left in the timeline panel, the one with the eye icon)
Under the gray bar, it's the black bar so, if you make it transparent, the text will show on a black background...

How to use this in priemer pro as esntial graphics because there is no controller layer
you don't need a control layer to create a motion graphics template... you can link the property you need directly in the essential graphics panel...

How do you make it transparent? I am trying to recreate this in a transparent form so that I can add lower thirds in Sony Vegas. Whenever I add it in after exporting quicktime + rgb & alpha it still has issues. When I go and try to use chroma keyer in sony vegas the lower third itself acts like a green screen but not the background.
if you have not added a background in the composition, it should render with alpha channel without any problem...
@@EZTuto I open the project exactly how its done in the video(downloaded the project and files so it should be exactly as the video). Is there any other export type that works through after effects?
@@crazyman606202 it's because the prerendered optical flare... it's in the add mode, so it needs to have something under it.... use the other project for the transparent render
@@EZTutoEDIT: Okay I used the other project and downloaded/installed the optical flares plugin. When I click "toggle transparency grid" I do have the transparent background however when I export it and then try to use it in sony vegas or someting along those lines the background is just black and I can't do anything with chroma keyer. I have exported with "quicktime" rgb & alpha animation. Is there a different setting/codec I need to use?
@@EZTuto Finally fixed it! Thanks a ton for the video and replies. The problem wasn't my render but rather my setting in sony vegas. After importing the lower third into vegas I just went to properties -> media -> alpha channel -> straight.
The optical flare file is in MP4. How is that possible? And it's not supported in Affter effect, I only get error message when importing it?
It's a prerendered effect, for those who don't own the Optical Flare plugin and it is normal to be an mp4 file... If you have problems importing it to After Effects project bin, it is a local problem, from your machine... the file was checked and used by a lot of people.

@@alurusshop Why would you need the .ffx file, if you do not have the plugin?? And if you have the plugin, just apply it and change the settings according to the tutorial... again, you would not need it
it would be best tuturial if you wouldn't use EZ tool because this tool is special for as a beginer its difficult to follow your tutorial with that tool because its shortcut tool and we need long way..
Maybe you are right, but the tool it's only a shortcut of some very simple and usual actions which requires a couple of clicks to be made...for example creating a new black solid... Layer > New > Solid then type the name you want to use and change the size if you use a different comp size each time. You can learn all the actions in 2 minutes, then use the tool, because it's very helpful in my opinion.

You are right about the "being special" part. But believe me...Avnish does not own this voice...He uses the same software like all others, so he can't claim that someone copies his voice...Thousands of other people used this voice before Avnish...
