    Great tutorial! Real quick though, if you pre-compose your text you can animate it a lot easier and both titles with react to one set of keyframes. Also it makes it easier to alter the text for future projects while still keeping the same animation you've already made. Keep up the good work man!

    Thank you very much for the tutorial. good and easy. The three methods of reversing the lower third interesting.
    I hope another tutorial for this style.

    Cool tip:
    Under the line layer, go to the top under line settingds select add > offset paths.
    This creates a slot in the line on the left that the text appears to slide out of.

    How do you move the entire animation on the staging area? I want to keep everything in the timeline the same but add a logo to the left of the red line and there isn't enough space to do so. When I select all the layers and move the selections it doesn't seem to carry the position of the animation with it as well. Awesome tutorial btw!

  • @TheAudioJourney
    @TheAudioJourney 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Phil, thanks so much for the tutorial, however, I'm pulling my hair out here. I can't get it to export with a transparent background! I've made sure I've toggled the transparency on, exported with an alpha channel, I cannot get this to export without a black background... Tried exporting as a quicktime movie, PNG sequence and re-imporing, animation and pro res 4444, nothing is working.

      Where are you importing it? Premiere Pro or something else? I know Sony Vegas users have had issues with this method.

    • @ppmjmitchell6506
      @ppmjmitchell6506 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @The Audio Journey, if you are working in Premiere and have Proxy files activated the background will show until you turn it off, this only applies if you using Proxies though. It could be something else though, good luck.

    great tutorial! I've done it the first time and it was perfect. Now when I try to use some elements of it for something else, it just doesn't work. Basically, when I create the line the anchor point would automatically be in the centre of the layer instead of being in the centre of the line. I used pan behind tool...I tried to center it but it just wouldn't let me. Looked for solutions online but I still can't find an answer to it. What do you think it could be? Thank youuuu
