Thanks for the video today, some nice fish put on the bank there. I too find fishing and being out in nature an immense help dealing with the pressures that everyday life can throw at you on occasion. Question those ropes strung across the venue there, do you know whether they are some form of cormorant deterrent ?
Hello Jonathon, thank you for your comment. I agree with you and I think a lot of people can take pleasure from angling or even something similar. As for the ropes they are to divide the swims, it was built as a match lake and the swims are quite close to each other. No arguments as to whose water is in front of you. On the larger lake they didn't install the ropes, personally I would prefer it without but I understand why they did it. Happy fishing!
Thanks for the upload man! A message I appreciate hearing. Was talking to my cousin the other day about how fishing may be a good thing to get into for the both of us. Hopefully I can get funds up to buy the two of us a little setup and give it a bash
Thank you Dylan. As with many hobbies it can be as cheap or as expensive as you like. Last year I spent a good time working out what kit I needed to suit the lakes in my my area. Suprisingly a lot of tackle is actually much cheaper now compared to twenty years ago. Back in the day I remember buying a pair of Delkim bite alarms and they were £85 each plus an extra £5 if you wanted a blue LED! Last year I bought two Delkim EV-D's and they were £50 each. There really is a great range out there to suit various budgets. I hope you and your cousin find yourself on a bank sometime soon.

Another awesome video. A shame that fish was left with a hook in it from a previous time. Must of broken off maybe. Im sure its a happier fish now .
Thank you. Sometimes it happens unfortunately but at least he could go back clean.
