can you put a full-face helmet on that bag?
No. The bag is too thin for a helmet. Dimensions: 18.8"long x 17.7"tall x 6"deep
@@UncleGordy83 what about a motorcycle jacket, can you put inside one of those bags?
@@pedrocosta6569 Easily fit a motorcycle jacket in there. I use mine to go fishing amongst other things so plenty of space just not wide enough for a helmet.
Could you please tell me where did you buy the curved luggage rack
The luggage rack is a 280mm (11") Harley Davidson Sportster Rack. You can either by genuine or aftermarket, this particular example was from Amazon. You will need to drill holes in your rear mud guard to fit it.
Nice bike!!
Thank you
my one is falling apart. The glue on the cam locks has gone on the banksticks and now spin around and the buzzer bars have little grub screws in and become loose making the uprights wonky. It's a good idea but poorly made.
Interesting. I'll have a closer look at mine and see if it's likely to have the same problem. I hate to say it but they don't make them like they use to. I had a Fox tripod back in the day and that thing was bullet proof, I did find one on a classic fishing tackle sight and was very tempted but the high cost put me off. Thank you for letting us know Paul, appreciate it.
@UncleGordy83 if you shine a torch in the thread of the buzzer bar bit you will see the little grub screws. Annoyingly the front and back buzzers are different size screws in them.
@@paulfoster686 Thank you, I'll take a look
Id like to see someone do a proper review of the Rigged and Ready S mid carp ..they also.pack down mega short,...perfect for cycles or motorbikes ,reckon a pair of those ,would cover a lot of bsses,...use the X5 as a stalking rod and all rounder job done..
I do have a Rigged & Ready S Mid Carp but it's a bit much for what I normally catch. Next year I will be exploring the Yateley Complex amongst others where it will definitely be in use! Stay tuned for that one.
Fantastic review of the sonic pod, great versatility and some cracking adaptions from yourself to boot. How do you find the Caperlan brolly shelter you use ?
Thank you. The shelter is great, short pack down dimensions, lightweight and easy to set up. I like having a shelter mostly so I put my motorcycle gear somewhere other than just on the ground.
1 of the 100. Great video mate. Have a great christmas. Looking forward to the next video
Thank you. The next one is going to be a banger!
Thanks for the upload man! A message I appreciate hearing. Was talking to my cousin the other day about how fishing may be a good thing to get into for the both of us. Hopefully I can get funds up to buy the two of us a little setup and give it a bash
Thank you Dylan. As with many hobbies it can be as cheap or as expensive as you like. Last year I spent a good time working out what kit I needed to suit the lakes in my my area. Suprisingly a lot of tackle is actually much cheaper now compared to twenty years ago. Back in the day I remember buying a pair of Delkim bite alarms and they were £85 each plus an extra £5 if you wanted a blue LED! Last year I bought two Delkim EV-D's and they were £50 each. There really is a great range out there to suit various budgets. I hope you and your cousin find yourself on a bank sometime soon.
Another awesome video. A shame that fish was left with a hook in it from a previous time. Must of broken off maybe. Im sure its a happier fish now .
Thank you. Sometimes it happens unfortunately but at least he could go back clean.
Thanks for the video today, some nice fish put on the bank there. I too find fishing and being out in nature an immense help dealing with the pressures that everyday life can throw at you on occasion. Question those ropes strung across the venue there, do you know whether they are some form of cormorant deterrent ?
Hello Jonathon, thank you for your comment. I agree with you and I think a lot of people can take pleasure from angling or even something similar. As for the ropes they are to divide the swims, it was built as a match lake and the swims are quite close to each other. No arguments as to whose water is in front of you. On the larger lake they didn't install the ropes, personally I would prefer it without but I understand why they did it. Happy fishing!
Bit of food for thought there, will try out these pointers in my next session 😊
Best of luck Jack. It's always worth trying new things even if it does seem to be against the norm.
88th subscriber here. Good little video, im now off to watch your other videos. Looking forward to the next episode 👍
Thank you, appreciate the sub and glad you're enjoying it. Plenty more to come to the channel.
Great video as always. Them feeders seem to be working pretty well for you. The small fish were pretty lively lol. Kept you busy. Nice to have bits of both camera views imo . Look forward to next one
Thank you. Looking back at the video I agree that the different capture styles add to the overall content.

Thank you Bistro
Another great video. Some great info and that last fish was a fun fight to watch. Look forward to more
Thank you good sir. Much Appreciated. I'll keep them coming!
That Bike is beautiful!
Thank you Pannzor. I've wanted one for a good number of years. Hope you're keeping well good sir.
👍!! !💜💜💜
i need the travel rod for sure cb650f occasionally when cars in dock
Genuinely can't recommend them enough and haven't found anything to rival the pack down size. Nice bike you have, I was tempted to buy one a few years back.
Awesome video again mate. Surprising how strong them little fish are
Thank you, much appreciated. They really do punch above their weight!
First video I’ve seen from your channel and I really enjoyed it - great video!
Thank you, much appreciated. Comments like this make it all feel worthwhile.
Great video like the travel rod lovely fishing.
Thank you, the rods really are good. Match rod video coming soon.
Good fishing man, cool channel too I’ll subscribe for sure
Thank you, plenty more too come as well.
Another awesome vid . Great fishing
Thank you good sir.
Are they the Super Patriot or the Mini Patriot? Thanks.
They are the Super Patriot SK (SK is to mount the quick release brackets as I have, the SB has leather straps. I don't think the mini would be much use other than holding a lunch box.
There is also a model called Racer which look wonderful and fit well on this bike.
@@robgerety Interesting. I'll take a look
Good vid ,i do similar except i travel on a Brompton to my local venues Im thinking now of a pair of Rigged and Ready s mid carp rods,...much smaller than any Scope or similar set up... Btw,the amount of fish ive had on my standard x5 is unreal ,great company is Andy Rigg and RnR
Fantastic, I have a Brompton as well for commuting. I am continually amazed by the Rigged & Ready products. I also looked at various extending rods but they were still far too long for putting on a bike.
I can't see the butt extension you have on RnR website ,did you getva 'special '... Really good products and customer service you can get ball feet for yr chair,to stop it sinking in soft ground mines a Helinox Chair one, very good kit.. I can get my whole kit including tenkara rod,in a 30 litre rucksack including a mini trangia 28 t...walk or cycle .. Reason ,why is because I can see travel by car or bike being very hard to do in the coming future
@@adamroots3429 The butt extension is all part of the X5 Max Adventure. It can be used at either end of the reel seat to set it up for fly fishing or a more typical spin fishing style.
hi what chair is that and what do you weigh thanks,
Hello, the chair was bought from Decathlon. I weigh 80kg and the chair is rated to 100kg. Comfortable for all day fishing. Here is a link to a similar but it is a different colour. www.decathlon.co.uk/p/mp/portal-outdoor/aaron-folding-camping-chair/_/R-p-3aa38a36-32be-4f6a-a815-eb1559d78fbd
What is the brand on lever clutch ? And how much ?
They are £47.40 from Hitchcocks Motorcycles. I have added a link in the video description.
Great video. Thats a pretty sweet setup. Looking forward to some more of these.
Thank you. More videos are in the works
Nice catch!
The rear rack , was it a straight fit or did you have to modify it , bike looking good
Very nice 👌 proper 😊
mst
Nice set up. Black seat looks better. Where did you get the rack from?
The rear rack is widely available from a host of stores, this one came from Amazon for about £30. You want the longer 280mm (11") Harley Sportster rack and it fits perfectly.
Looks very nice. When are you attaching the side car??
That will be in next years video when I replace the engine with a coal fired boiler & piston set up
