@@360carter3 Yep I do. You forgot to mention Luka is a terrible leader, led the league in turnovers and is a TERRIBLE defender. Wemby will most likely be the DPOY and average roughly 25 points a game and well over 10 boards a game leading the league in blocks with a lot steals too. So, yeah, because unfortunately average fans only care about offensive stats. Luka is basically James Harden. The Mavs would trade Luka for Wemby in a heartbeat and if not they would be really dumb. Defense matters. Wemby is a better leader already then Luka and with higher character and better work ethic too.

I really do get Luka is a great talent, but for me he is much like Harden and it's just really hard to win a title with a guy like that as your number 1. he is a defense liability, led the league in turnovers and just is not a real leader to me. I could not imagine playing with him and deflating it would be to see him cry and complain all game long. And, I expect Wemby to vastly improve in his FG% this season, be DPOY and to me Wemby already sounds more mature and like a better leader than Luka. Another aspect is Luka is just not able to play both ends because of his fitness and he gasses out. Part of the reason he is a bad defender is that he has to conserve energy as a 26 year old to be such a high usage offensive player. It's why to me Harden was also terrible on D and had real bad playoffs at times. In the end I think Luka has to learn to play off the ball better, be a spot up guy, rebalance his game some so he's not dribbling all day long losing energy so he can give more on defense. Right now he's just not going to get over the top the way he is. I'll take Wemby next year.
