you may find racing sims interesting The Gran Turismo series is recommendable, The license tests let you learn how to race fairly well. I do recommend 2, 3 and 4, As they're easy to understand and Emulate.
It had everything but the true 24 hour endurance races. GT6 is def better than 5 but 4 will always be the undisputed king to many just for what it achieved in it's era.

GT4 is great but you should buy the ntsc versions since the pal version doesn't support 1080i

I didn't even know this was IN GT1, I definitely don't remember it from the US version...
it's only in the Japanese one, p much all the iconic GT themes are in JP version but only appeared in GT2 for US and EU players
