Dude, I came to talk myself out of buying an X100VI (which is sold out anyway - history repeating itself) and fell in love with your mission. It's not the same as mine, but it's close enough that I felt a real connection - I want to make movies with a solid biblical world view underpinning and I've been chasing money and revenue building a software company for years and just ache to find a way to bridge back to what I REALLY want to do. So I'm glad you booked that trip! I'm gonna catch up what you've been up to the last year. See you in future (for me) comments.

Great shots Samuel, and I think you're on to something, re-wire your brain! It's amazing what we can do with what we have it we really put our heart into it, the latest gear won't instantly make anyone a better photographer or filmmaker, it won't inspire. It's about using less more, one prime lens, one camera, and just creating, capturing different unique perspectives as much as you can.
However, If you want to go with Fuji or Leica you must also go to the local store and pick up a leather camera strap as well as a silk scarf, then you're fully invested in it and will no doubt take much better shots.

Haha, you’re right. let’s see how long I can resist. I’m flying out in 2 weeks. I decided to not bring my FX6.
I might need to get the leather strap and silk scarf first since they’re available to buy.

Sir, what would you recommend if I want to shoot stills and cinematic reels of myself just for Instagram? Fujifilm X100v , vi or buy Sony zve10?

X100v is only good for photos. Videos will be hard not changing lens and not being stabilised. I would go zve10 to do both. But if it’s photos only, go x100v
