Tekken was on my mind ever since it was confirmed Bandai Namco worked on Ultimate. Jin or Kazuya were in my top 5 most wanted!
In hindsight, It does make sense, Sakurai and Harada's friendship is so fcking close, it was only a matter of time, but tbf, I did not see this coming, even if it was obvious at some point. God i'm so glad alot of people are excited for him, especially since i'm a very big fan of tekken aswell :D

Either I'm really old or these guys don't know shit, as soon as I saw Ganon being carried and the mountain I knew it was Kazuya.
I think it’s a bit of both. So many people bought too much into the BotW2 hype, they saw Ocarina of Time Ganondorf, and assumed it was BotW2, for some reason.
There’s also just people not knowing Tekken lore, so they have no clue.
That and Smash players are either casual gamers, and/or don’t have a wide gaming palette.

Yea, I never got that. Like, we’re they really going to use the OoT Ganondorf design for the BotW sequel? I mean, it would be cool but highly unlikely. I knew it was smash as soon as the first second dropped. Probably would of guessed Kazuya too if my volume wasn’t too low because when I saw this live, I forgot to turn up the volume. For real, Kazuya’s Tekken 2 theme is one of my favorite Tekken song of all time.

I had no idea who this was when I saw this for myself, aside from knowing he's from Tekken. Had no idea if it was a good choice or not, but seeing how everyone reacts to this character convinced me that he was a perfect choice for DLC!

In defense for PapaGenos, the leak he was talking about was from Vergenben, every character he leaked became true and there far too many to just be coincidence. The thing is he also has a history of getting the announcement order wrong. For example, he said DQ Hero will be next, but it was Joker... only for Hero to be the immediate follow up. That exact same thing could be happening again, so I won't say who he said will be joining just in case it's actually correct.
so because someone likes to predict something, true or not, it's fun to spoil an idea for yourself that you'll be disappointed doesn't come true or upset that it did? I personally don't see a win situation for leaks, real or fake

Like a certain ER has been huffy recently about proving they are a legitimate leaker and saying people should be apologizing to her for calling her fake after her 2 Metroid leak was confirmed correct. I’m kinda sad that no one knows who Kazuya is seeing as he was the very first main character in the series. It’s heart breaking to say this but the era of Tekken’s dying more and more and I feel so old and sad about it

@@Madheim777 I mean, depends on where you draw the line. For Post-Soviet countries Tekken is definitely more popular than Street Fighter. It was on PSP (which was popular here) and was pretty much the most represented fighting game in arcades. I find older and newer arcade machines to this very day in all different kind of places
