I did the exact same thing with mine. Used a machine screw through the wheel fork that broke, and used laser cut plywood on the top to strengthen the horn!

What about changing the shocks or soften/ dampen the suspension instead of adding new tires that would cause a weight increase?

Regarding the elevator. I plugged it into the fuselage but it is little wobbly. Is that normal

Yes, won’t affect flight at all. I’ve seen guys glue a shim to make it stiffer

There are so many draco owners having problems with this plane..... For the price a lot of the fixings should be cnc
