    Pastor Kingsley and Mildred have consistently mentioned that during singlehood we should be working on ourselves. Majority of us have come from homes where Christ centered marriages were not the norm. Running after God and walking with the holy spirit has revealed a lot of things that I need to work on, as an individual and I am greatful for that. I am running after God and doing his will and when God sees it fit and it is the right time, I will meet my future husband along the way. Greetings, from Nairobi - Kenya 🇰🇪......Tunawapenda Sana (We Love You) Pastor Kingsley and Mildred here in Kenya.

    God’s word transcends generation and time into eternity , whatever God has said thousand of years ago , still stand in 2024 and will still stand in 4044, God’s word existed before year 0001 and wont change and can’t be interpreted in the context of time and modernization , it is forever settled; it is true , strong , stands alone in every age

    I find when I live in different cultures, some are about dignity and there is very little platonic affection available. One thing that helps me alot is selfless serving and blessings other people especially if they can't bless me back. Things like that fill me with joy and peace. I also focus on the personal mercies I have received which humble me and wash away grief. Gratefulness gives me a place where I can be content. Contentment can be such a wonderful place where my neediness is quelled and I feel I can make it.

    What I get from Ebs’ question about wanting affection from a man, as a single woman. Is that really her need for affection could be stemming from a lack of it growing up from the home. Now that she's an adult, she's wanting to fill that gap with a man. But the answer to how to navigate that feeling, is to deal with that void in one's life, being in a relationship won't solve it…Which is what most of us think getting married will fill the void, when what needs to happen is being healed from past trauma.

      Absolutely! I heard that part she mentioned she didn't really get the affection from her folks growing up and I picked up that she may have some hurt to deal with first before looking for the affection from a platonic friendship. It would take some unraveling to identify how to navigate that yearning. I would say it will definitely start with loving ones self.

      Thank God pastor Mildred picked up on that the question because it needed more attention and insight than simply waiting.
      One of my love languages is physical touch and when I lose my late husband, I just felt like I needed a hug which I silently whispered to God about. A few seconds later, my nephew came running toward me and hugged me. That said alot about the God we serve. ❤
      The reason I mentioned this is because we can get physical touch from family and Friends even if it just lasts a few seconds and non sexual.
      This program was beautiful as always. Blessings ❤

    To the lady who wanted to know, how do you handle wishing to be held/touched but don't have a man?
    I have been through this, and God gave me a strategy that helped me. It would help if you went for pampering, for example, massages and facials.
    All these treatments help to release tension in your body. Just someone massaging you will make up for that touch you are desiring. When God gave me the strategy, I thought it was weird at first, but it worked.
    Also, exercising and going out to treat yourself. And keep praying to God to strengthen you through the process. Another thing I do whenever I feel that way is, I will ask God to hug and kiss me or hold me in his arms and it works. I literally feel God's arms around me, he is more than enough for us and everything we desire he can give to us including touches and being held.

    That lady (1:30) seemed so negative, u hv to wonder why she even asked the question if she's not ever open to compromise. Like, if not having more kids is your ABSOLUTE non-negotiable them why r u even asking the question n being worried abt turning men off? You say u won't change ur mind so be upfront with them n don't worry if they run after that. And why even make that comment...."my son is taller than a lot of the men here so that's another thing". Listen, I'm no prophet n don't know what made her a single mom but if she doesn't work on herself, whoever she finds next will just be in trouble

    From what I heard...I think Ebs wants affection from a man, but because she's single - she doesn't know how to navigate "waiting" and the longing she has for the affection she craves without being in a relationship with someone.

  • @beauti1128
    @beauti1128 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Maybe Ebs question is “how to deal with wanting affection from the opposite sex but without being in a relationship”. So she’s single but wants to know how to deal with or get approval to get affections without being in a relationship. I’m thinking she’s using the wrong choice of word and also not totally vulnerable due to an open audience.

      Guide your thoughts....your love language must be a healthy hobby and release that "energy". Lusting vs Self- Control. Your desire is Valid just wait. Pls don't rush into any relationship because of "Physical touch" No one was created to Physically touch Another 24/7.... reduce watching romantic movies
