-There was anti-incumbency in couple of states.
-And opposition gave their everything and I think we should appreciate them for it.
Coupled with some luck 🤞 probably led to this mandate.
But I don't think people hate the this government or hindutva for the matter. BJP will most probably bounce back in next general elections.
The old policies will continue, infrastructure will continue to further build but with a downside that we will might not be able to see those reforms which were expected in 3rd term.

Even I feel that all BJP supporters need to come out and vote for BJP and not just assume that BJP will win any how. Even though Rahul Gandhi is not strong candidate but I am sure that Muslims and Christians will vote collectively for Congress and avoid regional parties to counter BJP at centre as they have done in Karnataka and Telangana elections. So all those who want BJP to win must come out in big numbers and vote and not enjoy the holiday.

1. Narendra Modi will win a 3rd Term decisively albeit with a reduced majority.. definitely no talk of a coalition government and a possible compromise candidate as you now seem to suggest.. Secondly as per reports on the US Election, the Democrats want to dump Biden because of his failing cognitive abilities and if they havent replaced him as yet its because no one wants Kamala Harris as the replacement to be in the chair till Nov 2024..the news is that The Democratic Replacement Candidate is already chosen as Michelle OBama but they are holding back the annoucement till July Aug 2024.. if your earlier prediction of Biden Not completing his term has not come to fruition its because the Democrats want to avoid giving the automatic "leg up" to Kamala Harris who would have replaced the sick Biden as POTUS. Complacency is always a valid concern. Modi ji does have tapo balam of his own and blessings of some powerful seers and sages. It will not be easy to do him harm. That does not stop enemies from trying though. Vigilance is important.

Clearly Narasimha Rao ji is now hedging his bets as a result of a string of wrong predictions in the recent past, not the least being the 2023 Telengana and Chhattisgad assembly results and getting the Cricket World winner Cup wrong..these wrong predictions are forcing him to be more circumspect and play both sides.. his earlier firmly held long term predictions on Modi and Rahul have gone for a toss..Sad!!

With his characterization in past predictions of Trump as a characterless & disgusting person and Biden a flawless and straight forward human being, PVRNRji's personal sympathies and aversions are obvious. In the last couple of years his broad prediction has been that Trump would be in a mental asylum and Biden would be bringing Rama Rajya to the US 😁. Hopefully PVRNRji will not let his predilections interfere with an unbiased reading of the charts.

I think this is more of PVR's wish than the analysis. and he is consistently wrong on Trump- probably due to his bias towards Democrat party. For all the hype around Modi's return in 2024 and he himself stating it openly, the truth is BJP karyakartas have been toiling hard across many States. Amit Shah, JP Nadda have been making strategic moves to consolidate votes in some new areas. The only way challenges will come is through sponsored riots, misinformation, open bribery and also physical damages closer to election day. It can be a violent election phase in some States but then divine intervention can spring unexpected surprises. Modi ji is not leaving any stone unturned.

Just want to add upon listening to this a second time, how correct you have been in the past few years in your predictions on the U.S. elections. You have soothed my nerves as I have been extremely worried every time Trump ran. I don't think our country could survive another term. But in case Trump does get elected, we can remove him through impeachment if we have a Democratic House and a Democratic Senate. Could you weigh in if after 2024 elections we have a Democratic House and a Democratic Senate? Or who wins the House and Senate? That would be a foil against Trump and authoritarian rule. If he is elected and removed, the new Republican President would pardon Trump but any Republican Vice President would be preferable to Trump. And a GOP President cannot pardon him against State charges. He would probably leave the country to avoid imprisonment. A one way ticket to Moscow would suffice.

South India will be extremely difficult to crack. BJP can't win any seats in Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Andhra pradesh. BJP may get 1 seat in kerala and 2 or 3 seats in telangana. So BJP should compensate in North States. So, BJP will get 280 to 300 seats in 2024 elections.
