I saw Realm and had to watch this video... I played from 1x forward even in the recent revitalization. Great simple game, wish we could get a new one like it.
I have never played this, but it reminds me a lot of the Sierra adventure games from the 80's and 90's. The multi boxing approach is interesting as it looks like it could spice up the game for you if you get bored playing solo. I am guessing that they don't care about multi boxing unlike other MMOs who discourage or even ban players(
They actually tell you on the website how to multi-box, I wasn't keen on the idea at first and thought it would be hard to do but it made things much better in terms of using 2 difference classes, different spells and the increased EXP gain too, it was pretty easy to manage.
The game was actually developed by Sierra in the mid-90s using the same engine as their adventure games but was never released in retail stores. They bundled demos with some games in 1997-1998 and had a downloadable demo.
It was fun to invite everyone to your ,home, tell them you were doing a "drop" where you had tons of great items scattered on the ground, charge everyone $2k to get in and after everyone paid, /evict-ing them all from your property. Hahaha ha
TC. All of this MMORPG stuff that is Not ESO related is cool and all, but I started watching this channel for the insights and knowledge it provided about Elder Scrolls Online Tanking. There has been very little ESO Tanking content of late. I would Love to see some step by step guides on Tanking of the New Trials and Dungeons HM. Lucent Citadel, Dreadsail Reef, Rockgrove, and Sanity's Edge could all use a once through detailed "how-to" best practices for a few seasoned Tanks perspectives.
Morning Charles, thanks for the comment. I have a massive Tank Guide for ESO releasing this week which has taken a lot of time to put together. I have guides for all of the trials mentioned minus Lucent Citadel, since I have mostly been doing 4-player content as of late, I havent had the group to do vLC enough times to have the detailed knowledge or footage to make a guide.
I am a vet player of this game and played every single year since 99/00, this game is so bad right now the new *player owners* aka publishers have ruined this game now. This isn't even what the realm was before the end of last year and also the owners broke deals left right and centre and gave the game to the current player developers with out notice to the ones that was doing good. Even then that wasn't the same realm we played all the years. Yeah they kept the original server free to play but tbh it's a joke they even charge 5er PER account and you need multie accounts to play. I miss this game I truly do but it is legit a shadow of it's former self. I could go on with 1million wrong and showing 1million rights but biggest wrong is current ownership aka norman games and the player developers who was given the game. End of the day the games dead and code is so old it needs a complete rebuild for today's market. Get rid of norman games and current Ayer developers and it would do good again with right people.
i played realm since 1997 or whenever it was that you could only "demo" the game for 10 or 30 minutes per session. i also played the recent versions as well as private servers. its sad that youre butthurt about something specific about the realm, but overall its iterated just fine for old and new players alike. just let the painful stuff go and move on with your life!
