Do anyone not accustomed to our funeral rites A lion dance performance in a funeral is like cremating a norse jarl On a ship It is the highest honor I'm pretty sure that Japanese and Koreans also would do this with their Lion Dance Variants For us Chinese It's the highest level of honor For some reason is rare to see these Lion dances unless you are a important figure or a notorious triad leader But I would love to have a funeral where my soul gets sent off With a funeral hakka lion dance Also they do burn the lion Head After the funeral
